Stay away from those.
Dimitar from MAIDEN, NC on 2/15/2025
I've used them once a month to listen to the music or study. I can't say anything good for this product unfortunately. They broke today exactly one year and one month from purchasing them. When I was putting them on my head and adjusting them down to the years. I'm 45 and I don't abuse products but this is just terrible flaw. Sound quality is ok but noice canceling wasn't that good compared to the other brands. I'd recommend you to pick something else. There are plenty in this price point.
Pros: None compared to other brands
Cons: Not durable Problems with noice cancellation some weird pressure when no sound playing

I'm Thoroughly Impressed
Jack from NASHVILLE, TN on 6/26/2024
I own 8 pairs of over ear wireless headphones ranging from $350 to $1000, so this was a "collector" purchase. Then I used them and wow! The clarity and open soundstage is excellent. The EQ can get you to a good mix. I'm a basshead and these cans are definitely not bass forward, but the bass is tight and not muddled even at high EQ and volume. You'll get a bit of punch on EDM and dance tracks, but I really like the clarity. I'm definitely going to use these. Great low profile case and they fold so they wil be my travel headphones. Noise cancellation is good not great and the buttons are really close together, so takes some getting used to. By far a better design and materials than competitors at this price. Bottom line: impressive !
Pros: Extreme sound clarity Unique Design Great Build Quality Really good app Foldable for easy travel
Cons: So so noise cancellation Control buttons very close together and difficult to get used to

Good Bluetooth 'Phones
Nathan from Abingdon, VA on 3/14/2024
I really like these phones - comfortable, portable, and the controls/app are very easy to use. The battery life is insane! I literally didn't have to charge them for like four months. I think there are better sounding phones out there, but for Bluetooth they're not bad (especially when using EQ in the app).
Pros: Comfortable Easy to use Well made
Cons: Sound could be better

These have to be the most comfortable headphones I've ever used or owned for this price range. No ear fatigue or anything uncomfortable about them. They have a long playing time on one charge. The sound is absolutely amazing and they are beautiful!!
Pros: - Bought while on sale - comfortable - amazing sound - holds a charge well

Technics EAH-A800
Robert from Palm Bch Gdns, FL on 10/31/2023
I finally cut the cord and bought a wireless pair of headphones. I used these yesterday for the first time @ the gym & was quite pleased with their performance. I turned off the noise canceling and the EQ was set @ flat. I listened to live Motorhead and found the dynamics & sound stage great. Bass response was perfect. There was no muddling of the sound and all instruments were clear and distinct. They stayed in place the entire time. I wore them for approx 2 hours and had no listening fatigue or other discomfort. I did lose contact with my phone a few times but I am not sure the cause. I had my phone in my pocket and it is possible I might have bumped a button while moving. Overall I love my new headphones and can't think of any way they could be improved.
Pros: Sound. Stays in place. Price.
Cons: None.

Technics EAH-A800
Rado from ROCKAWAY PARK, NY on 9/8/2023
I looked around for headphones that could replace my Bang & Olufsen H4. After looking around, I purchased the Technics EAH-A800. Same price range, interesting audio specs, noise cancelling, long battery life. As soon as they arrived, I put them on. The fit was comfortable, they look sturdy. Bluetooth pairing was straightforward. I toyed with the noise cancelling and ambient noise features, and they function very well, with a minor caveat, we'll get to that later. Phone calls are clear and I do not need to raise my voice to be heard. For music audio however, to me these headphones are okay, but not as good as the B&O H4 in terms of versatility, clarity and range to my ears. The mids keep-up, but the lows and highs on these headphones feel anemic in comparison. Also the noise cancelling feature affects the music audio, it is not bad, but the music feels less organic somehow, even after tweaking the sound profiles in the app. I also prefer the B&O app's parametric equalizer. These headphones are packed with more features than the H4, but I'd ditch the noise cancelling and the other bells and whistles for the H4 sound. Overall, these are very good headphones, but they just don't quite cut it for me.
Pros: Noise canceling works great Programmable touch functions Clear phone calls Balanced sound Comfortable Easy to operate Good price
Cons: Lows and highs are a bit underwhelming

Nice balanced sound, good EQ
William from Bronx, NY on 3/22/2023
They look great and generally are comfortable. The earcups need better, more plush cushions. The ANC seems to work well - haven't taken a flight yet, but its works well for WFH or in office as well. Voice calls are good - no complaints about call quality, etc. The app is good. The plastic headband isn't as flexible as the Bose, etc.. The sound is great overall for nearly all types of music. Note: Bass heads will be a little disappointed because they lack the oomph of other headphones that crank up the bass frequencies, but there is bass, just not as profound. But you can tweak the EQ to your preference which is nice. The bad: the buttons are too close and require a firm press to use. I love that there are buttons, but they need to use a different touch surface for the buttons, easy to press the wrong button.
Pros: Sound quality
Cons: Button design

Technics EAH-A800
Tom from La Porte, IN on 11/19/2022
These are great excellent sounding headphones. They are in the neutral/natural sound category. The bass is present and "punchy" but not overpowering. They have a quality, solid feel to them. Clearly a better build quality than my Sonys. They are comfortable. I just had them on for an entire trans-Atlantic flight without a problem. Finally, the battery-life is awesome.

Great All-Around Headphones
Henry from Mount Vernon, KY on 10/3/2022
The headphones came in a very nice black hard case. Charging cord and cord for wired listening fit nicely in the case with the headphones. The headphones themselves look great and appear to be of a quality build. Tried these out over the last few days in a variety of situations to check sound and noise cancelling ability. The sound of these headphones is very well balanced. Nice bass and treble but neither is overpowering. Midrange is good, vocals are clear. The noise cancelling eliminates most, but not all external noise. Occasionally external sounds will get through. The ear cups fit nicely over my ears and are comfortable for wearing a few hours at a time. The unit as a whole is lightweight. Battery life is out of this world. Have used them with noise cancelling on for several hours since they have arrived and the battery is still at around 90%. If you're looking for a great pair of all around headphones give these a serious look. Yes, they may be a bit pricey but they certainly live up to the Technics name. Could you do better? Possibly. But you sure could do a lot worse than these.
Pros: Great treble/bass/midrange balance Convenient, sturdy carrying case Out of this world battery life
Cons: Noise cancelling could be better

Technics does it again.
Jacob from Peru, IL on 8/14/2022
I'm giving these five stars based on their price in relationship to all the solid features and qualities these headphones deliver. I also have to preface my 5 star rating, in that other Bluetooth headphones the likes of Sony and Bowers & Wilkins do have maybe more to offer in comparison, but at a price. For individuals who are first timers in venturing into +$300 Bluetooth headphones market, these Technics headphones offer without question the most bang for your buck! 5/5 rating for that alone. Sound quality in my opinion is that sweet spot between the Sony and B&W, not as much bass as the Sony X5, but better microdynamic detail and tonal clarity. Maybe not as detailed and wide of a soundstage as the Bowers and wilkins, but then again their bass is a little more palpable, and they are cheaper than both the aforementioned Sony and Bowers & Wilkins S2. And as far as features go and ANC function these headphones again are right in the middle of the pack. The app itself is better than the one offered by Bowers & Wilkins, and yet still not up to the level of that of Sony and the x5. It offers you a range of EQ settings, and meets 99% of your needs. These are an exceptional headphones considering their price point, and then again I'm sure there are ways to get them even cheaper. For anyone who is going out on a limb and spending greater than $300 on a set of bluetooth headphones for the first time, these have my absolute stamp of approval.
Pros: - Near class leading sound at a class leading price. - Build quality looks nice, and is near premium grade, yet still is very lightweight. - Very comfortable for extended wearing. - For anyone on a budget, these are the Bluetooth headphones to buy.
Cons: - Sony X5 has better ANC, bass, and app features, but looks and feels cheaper comparatively. Also costs more. - Bowers & Wilkins have a more premium feel, more solid fit, even better microdynamics and sound feel depth and stage. But again, they cost more and app isn't as good. Nor is battery life. - If you can afford to spend another $50, which I'm sure most people can when they're purchasing $300+ headphones, the alternative BT headphones become more appealing.

Amazing headphones; minor caveats
Ellen from New York, NY on 5/15/2022
I love the sound, the extensive battery life, the comfort, the build, the excellent noise-cancelling, the adjustments possible with the easy-to-use software, the carrying case into which they easily fold, the fact that there are physical buttons for various adjustments, (although these buttons should be spaced so the user can press the one they intend), and the appearance of these Technics earphones. The black model has various shades of black-carbon that are attractive, yet still neutral looking. I have worn these for hours with no discomfort. They occasionally drop Bluetooth, requiring the set to be turned on again, but this may be a problem in crowded locales where there is interference from many others with their own Bluetooth, and a heavy communications infrastructure. (I had to return Sony 1000-xm4 earphones because their Bluetooth problem was constant - maybe my pair were just a lemon). I googled Bluetooth interference and learned that keeping another Bluetooth device, such as my phone, too close, can cause interference, and I found that was true. The only real negative is that they make a slight clicking sound when I break into a jog - not terrible, but there. When I spoke with Crutchfield's technical department, they said "They aren't intended for running". I would love for the design engineers to come up with over-the-ear earphones that could be adjusted as to tightness-looseness on the ears as opposed to just length.
