You can't go wrong with JL Audio on your boat
Crutchfield customer from PENSACOLA, FL on 7/3/2021
I was working on a friend's boat who wanted an audio system upgrade. He already has two 6.5" JL Audio marine speakers and wanted to add more. He picked these out and told me to get them. They are big, beefy and heavy. Perfect for a saltwater marine environment because boats take a beating out in the Gulf of Mexico. Installed was simple. The LED lighting is gorgeous. Sound quality is excellent. JL may be expensive but it's worth every penny.
Pros: Easy to install since they give you a template Very high quality design Crisp and clean sound overall
Cons: Expensive but JL Audio is a Top 3 Brand for Quality Marine Audio

AMAZING
Jonathan from San Diego, CA on 4/14/2021
I replaced my toy haulers exterior speakers with these. Took me two days to cut the holes, build brackets and take apart and put back together some cabinets. BUT ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! These sound amazing! I'm using a Fosgate amp giving them 300w/ea. And the amp is tuned appropriately, with voltmeter. These things are absolutely crystal clear and BUMP. I was worried that I'd have to install a subwoofer, but these don't need one at all, they're just fine on their own (and I'm picky!). These are the Rolls Royce of speakers. While I was out in the desert, I turned up the volume to max (of my tune), walked away from my trailer, I was 200yds out before I noticed any loss in clarity, 500yds out and I could still hear them. Walked back after that because I got tired and I figure I'd have to go another 1000yds to not hear them. My camping group has 3 of those Bluetooth ground speakers with 12" woofers and a tweeter and these speakers absolutely blow them out of the water. Make sure you give them enough power and these speakers will not disappoint!
Pros: -Crystal clear sound -Built solid -Pretty lights
Cons: -Mounting depth is more than comparable speakers

I bought these for my back porch and they are awesome. I have them on my boat and knew they would look great in the wood ceiling with the lights.

Best speakers I have owned
Crutchfield customer from Bowling Green, KY on 6/16/2020
These are the best sounding speaker pair I have heard. The are getting 200 RMS a piece, but they are extremely clear, not distorted, and have a ton of low end presence. A sub-woofer with these is optional but definitely not necessary.
Pros: Best Sounding Speaker with no sub needed
Cons: A little pricey

Great Sound, Tons of low end... I am rethinking adding a subwoofer, I don't think it's completely necessary now. I installed two of these in the front of my 23' center console

Extremely Pleased
Crutchfield customer from Virginia Beach, VA on 5/20/2019
Best marine speaker. Period. Wiring RGB's is a little cumbersome, but overall, extremely happy with these speakers. Customer service from Crutchfield is top notch.
Pros: Sound quality and good looks
Cons: RGB wiring. Would be nice if they had connectors for easy instal and removal.
