Most reviews I read on this stealthbox said that it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. That's exactly the way I would describe it. The sound is great, and it fits perfectly into the side of the cargo area of my 2013 Xterra, allowing me to fully utilize all of the space in the back.
Pros: Great sound and secure mount out of the way
Cons: High price, but worth it

The box fits perfect into the designed space. It came packaged in a custom fit foam enclosure. That was awesome to see as it is a long trip from the East Coast to Alaska.
Pros: I love the way my mirrors vibrate to the beat! Installation was easy as the instructions described.
Cons: Running the wires was a Pain!

If you have a second gen Xterra, you need this enclosure!! Sure it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Installed this sub takes up hardly any room, and sounds great!! Sound quality and volume are both outstanding, plus with all the extra room I'll no longer need to take a tent camping.
Pros: looks, quality, sound
Cons: Price, but again, you get what you pay for.

this is the real deal. installed on a 2011 xterra, and the fit is perfect, the sound is incredible. installation was fairly easy, but the instructions leave a bit to be desired. what's the spacer for? why not include a rubber grommet instead of recommending silicone? a recommendation on speaker wire routing would've been nice too. all in all though, the quality of this product is great. if you want great sound in your xterra, this is a no-brainier.

What a great purchase! I have been a fan and end user of JL Audio subwoofers for several years. As time has progressed I found myself wanting a vehicle to hold more than just a gallon of milk around my system. This box does not disappoint me in clarity, loudness or space needed for the enclosure. This Stealthbox provides crystal clean sub bass that easily fills the entire cabin (and then some) AND leaves me with ample room to go camping as well. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with an Xterra.
