2017 Cadillac Escalade
This was this an awesome investment! Hands down the sound is MUCH better than the stock bose. I pushed this with the JL Audio XD300
Pros: -deeper bass -much better than stock sound -sounds like I have a large bass box installed

2019 GMC Yukon XL
Waste of money. A 6" subwoofer is already in place. I have a 1200 watt Amp going to this 10" sub and it sounds weaker than the stock. The purpose of the box is to add additional bass to the truck, where you can feel it and hear it. This is just an expensive money pit. First and last time ordering from Crutchfield.

After installing and using this I would like to focus most on reviewing the reviews. one seemingly negative review suggests not getting that much bass for the money. I kind of agree with that, BUT. I feel like I'm buying integrated look in a sealed box. It sounds great! Would a larger ported sub sound louder? Yes. Can I get a larger ported sub for less (or the same price)? Yes. I don't know what the enclosure is tuned to, response is 25hz-250hz I feel l like amp filter should be set around 80hz (higher frequency sounds annoying). Pretty minimal console rattling (fixed with a little foam tape). Quick easy install with great instructions. ***did not have to remove seats *** (instructions don't call for seat removal). Get this before it's out of stock! Better yet. get this before JL discontinue it. After using this one I wanted a stealth box for another vehicle (not Chevy not GMC) just to find out JL discontinued production of that model.

Great sub!! Gives me great bass and I don't have to worry about big speaker boxes in the cargo area. When my friends hear it, they automatically look in the rear to see what I have and they see nothing there. It's funny to see their reaction.
Pros: Great bass. Works well with factory system.
Cons: Had to remove the seats to get the center console out properly. That was the only issue. Fits perfectly though.

Absolutely love this item. Put it in my 2016 Escalade and it's just what I wanted! Hidden completely in the factory sub location, no rattle, and plenty of bass!

JL Stealth Box Absolutely Worth It

For an invisible sub this thing sounds amazing for the money. You just can't beat the way they designed this sub enclosure to fit seamlessly in the console of my suburban and have ZERO rattle. The sound is clean and rich at all ranges which was also a shocker. I couldn't be more pleased with this product and the customer service provided by Dante at Crutchfield. It's been years since ordering from Critchfield but will find an excuse to do so again soon. Most likely for another JL Audio speaker these things are absolutely worth the bang for the buck.
Pros: Invisible maintaining a clean factory look and leaps better than the factory sub.
Cons: Would like a little more bass at low volume.

Exactly what I was looking for. Installs under the front console. Once installed you can tell the bass is much better and a tremendous improvement over the stock stereo. Purchased the scratch and dent and saved money.
