JL Audio designs Stealthboxes to fit in specific vehicles, then loads them with appropriate subwoofers for optimal performance. Pair the system with an appropriate amp and wiring for stellar concealed bass.

JL Audio puts months of research and design into each Stealthbox custom-fit subwoofer to ensure not only that it fits, but that it sounds better than any other custom enclosed system. First, JL Audio determines the ideal shape and mounting location for each enclosure, so that it looks like an original part of the vehicle it's designed for. Next, they mount each high-performance subwoofer so it delivers amazing firepower from within its unique enclosure, without sacrificing clarity or musical depth.
The fiberglass enclosure offers superior rigidity while allowing more interior volume, so the sub can turn out louder, deeper bass. JL Audio craftsmen then laminate, grind, join, and finish each Stealthbox® by hand. The end result: full-bodied, distortion-free bass from an impressively stealthy enclosure.

This Stealthbox enclosure fits select 2009-up Ford F-150 SuperCrew and SuperDuty Crew Cab trucks and installs under the rear seat. This Stealthbox® includes two 12" 12TW3-D8 thinline subwoofers from JL Audio and is wired for 2-ohm total impedance. You'll need to remove the under-seat storage tray and factory subwoofer (if equipped). Overview: JL Audio's SB-F-150-SCDBL/12TW3/BK Stealthbox has been specifically designed to fit select 2009 and later Ford SuperCrew full size pickups. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit. The enclosure features two 12" 12TW3-D8 subwoofers in a custom down-firing sealed enclosure that mounts under the rear seat.
Subwoofers: The two 12" TW3-D8 thin-line subwoofers offer a combination of a shallow mounting depth and high excursion capability, producing deep powerful bass from a small enclosure. They feature a concentric tube structure built into the injection-molded mica-filled cone body. This supports the voice-coil and spider, while allowing the larger motor structure to be placed further forward in the speaker than with conventional designs. The two dual 8Ω voice-coil subwoofers are wired in parallel to present a 2Ω load on the single pair of terminals, and are capable of handling 800 watts RMS (400 watts RMS each driver).
Enclosure: The Stealthbox enclosure is made of fiberglass covered in black carpet designed to blend in with the vehicle's interior. The enclosure is designed to mount under the rear seat, so no usable cargo or passenger space is taken up. The enclosure will not effect the folding of the rear seats or passenger's leg room.
