I am so pleased with the sound. And the install was pretty good. It just took some time but it fits great!!!

Crutchfield customer service is terrible!!!

Crutchfield has the WORST cuts service! Took speaker to be installed bracket to install wasn't in the box. Called Crutchfield customer service, tech support, manager they stated this piece wasn't on their parts list but it's on the JL parts list! Crutchfield stated they would call back never returned the call, we called never received a return call back. We had to call JL the bracket absolutely should have been in the box and they should have replaced the product with no hesitation. JL is sending but the bracket is on back order. So I can't rate the speaker but as for Crutchfield I will NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN! And I will tell everyone else to not either.

We're very sorry that you didn't originally receive the bracket that was supposed to be included with the JL Audio Stealthbox. Our Customer Support Specialist, Tammie, investigated the situation, retrieved and shipped the needed bracket from our warehouse, and alerted Mica that this part was on its way.

Amazing Sound

Amazing sound for such a small air space. very impressed. Mold into the jeep well and protects the sub from any damage in the cargo area. Love it.

Jeep Wrangler JL subwoofer install

Wow. You certainly get what you pay for with this subwoofer! I have worked with a lot of subwoofers however JL Audio has outdone itself with this product. From start to finish, their installation instructions were perfect (step by step details, they thought of every component including all new fasteners). And the sound that they get from this reasonably compact enclosure is unbelievable. Excellent low 'theatre subwoofer' bass that is not muddled by mid bass 'boom' (better low bass than much larger dual 10 inch/12 inch enclosures I have worked with!). The smile it put on the jeep owner'face that I installed this for was priceless! Yes, the product is expensive but given the grade A+ job JL Audio did with it, it is worth every penny! (and this single 10 inch sub is all that is needed - it is heavy duty!!). And it (along with upgrades to the 3.5 inch factory jeep speakers) was all it took to get a genuinely quality sound/solid volume out of the OEM stereo (the sub amp I located under the passenger seat). I just felt compelled to extol the virtues of this product as it is THAT good. Again, wow! Thank you JL Audio (and Crutchfield advisory team!)
