Designed for custom systems and serious sound staging, the JL Audio C6-275cm midrange driver brings surgical clarity to the critical midrange zone — think vocals, guitar riffs, and snare hits with zero fluff. A fine mesh grille and screw-on, interchangeable mounting system with adapter rings make it a clean fit in a wide range of OEM dash locations, including GM, Toyota, Ram and many Euro makes.

Engineered for precision

Built with a mineral-filled polypropylene cone and a rubber surround, the C6-275cm delivers low distortion and high detail. JL used their advanced DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) tech to fine-tune the motor structure, so the speaker hits clean and hard when you crank it. It's like a high-performance engine running smoothly at redline — less distortion and more control, every time you open it up. A flat spider and EFC (Elevated Frame Cooling) keep things cool while allowing excellent excursion.

Clean design

At just over 1.42" deep, this driver is made to fit where others won't. It's ideal for A-pillars, dash pods, or anywhere a tight footprint and refined sound are both non-negotiable.

Motor Structure: JL Audio uses a proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA) to scientifically optimize the motor linearity, leading to reduced distortion and accurately reproduced transients.

Power Handling: JL Audio publishes multiple power specifications for this speaker, 50 watts continuous power handling (RMS) and 25-80 watts recommended amplifier power (RMS). We've listed the conservative combination of 25-50 watts RMS in the specs table.

Midrange: Three pair of threaded brackets are included for mounting the midrange drivers:

Custom Mount: Out of the box the midrange drivers are mounted in the round 4-hole brackets. The grilles can also be added to the 4-hole brackets.
Factory Mount 1: Use this to mount the midrange in factory 3½" applications.
Factory Mount 2: Use this to mount the midrange in factory 2¾" applications.

Crossover: No crossover is included with this midrange; JL Audio recommends using a digital signal processor with active crossovers.
