Midbass monster

The C6 woofer features JL Audio's proprietary cast alloy frame with advanced cooling technology, so it'll keep pounding without generating excess heat, one of the true enemies of accurate sound. A mineral-filled polypropylene cone and durable rubber composite surround ensure longevity and smooth response. Its advanced dust cap sets this speaker apart from others in its class by extending the speaker's frequency response so the driver will blend in gracefully in a 2- or 3-way system — and always sound phenomenal. JL Audio also includes a handsome mesh grille to round out the look.

I have the RD 900/5 amplifier from JL. Is this a good enough amp to use with 4 of these 6 1/2" C6 speakers and tweeters?

That amp sure can work with these speakers! They will be very well with that amp; not the best possible, but the benefits of the speakers will appear with the RD amp like running them

Cast Alloy Baskets: The woofers feature cast alloy baskets incorporating JL Audio's patented Elevated Frame cooling system. This technology, also found on JL's flagship components, delivers cool air through slots directly above the top-plate to the voice coil, improving power handling and minimizing power compression.

Motor Structure: JL Audio uses a proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA) to scientifically optimize the motor linearity, leading to reduced distortion and accurately reproduced transients.

Power Handling: JL Audio publishes multiple power specifications for this speaker, 100 watts continuous power handling (RMS) and 30-150 watts recommended amplifier power (RMS). We've listed the conservative combination of 30-100 watts RMS in the specs table.
