Features
Tweeters: The tweeters have ¾" silk domes, are ferrofluid-cooled and use neodymium magnets. Silk is lightweight and offers high frequency extension and efficiency. It is also designed for durability in the extreme automotive environment. Flush and surface tweeter mounting brackets are included.

Crossovers: The in-line tweeter crossovers are 2nd order (12 dB/octave slope) and the 48" input and 14" output wires are attached. The output wires are terminated with male quick slides that plug into the terminals on the wires attached to the tweeters and the output wires are not terminated. The electronic tweeter protection circuit is designed to minimize the possibility of tweeter failure. It monitors current going to the tweeter and will disconnect the tweeter from the signal when it senses overload. Once the volume has been reduced, the protection circuit will reset itself automatically.

Power Handling: JL Audio publishes several power specifications for these tweeters, 60 watts continuous power handling (RMS), 125 watts peak power, and 15-100 watts recommended amplifier power (RMS). We've listed the conservative combination of 15-60 watts RMS in the specs table. All these rating assume the included crossover is used; damage caused when not using an appropriate crossover is not covered by the warranty.

I had a pair of C1 components, and they sounded really good, but they were a little harsh because they were right against my window and the dashboard I talked to a Crutchfield advisor. They suggested that I go with a silk tweeter so I did that very simple to install sounds so much better.
