Whoa... That's about all I could muster after demoing JL Audio's C7 component system at their headquarters. I was floored. Track to track, moment to moment, I was astounded by the clarity and presence reproduced by these speakers. The voice of your system

This C7-350cm 3-1/2" midrange driver is a powerhouse, handling frequencies from 300 to 10,000 Hz, which account for most vocals, piano, and guitar. Have no doubt — this little guy is seriously up to the task. JL Audio uses a mineral-filled polypropylene cone for excellent damping and a specially designed concave dust cap to make it a versatile player within a 3-way system. A one-of-a-kind machined motor and oversized voice coil ensure minimal distortion under any appropriate powering scenario. And with an elegant grille like no other for custom installation, this speaker will be the star of your dream system.

Make it part of an active system

The ultra-premium C7 Series has been years in the making, but its unveiling was contingent on JL Audio providing the ultimate tuning solution for optimal speaker performance — and that's TüN, their latest audio-tuning software. Each C7 speaker is sold à la carte to give you the freedom to design whatever system your ears desire. You'll need an active crossover to use C7 speakers — JL Audio' recommends using their TwK™ 88 digital signal processor, which gives you access to the awesome sound-shaping power that TüN offers. The JL Audio engineers designed the C7-350cm to be neutral, without coloration, so that you can use TüN to craft exactly the right sound for you and your vehicle.

Power Handling: JL Audio publishes several power specifications for this speaker, 100 watts continuous power handling (RMS), 200 watts peak music power, and 50-150 watts recommended amplifier power (RMS). We've listed the conservative combination of 50-100 watts RMS in the specs table.

I AM GOING TO RUN THESE IN MY DASH, MY DOOR SPEAKERS ARE THE C2-650 COMPONENT AND WILL BE RUNNING THE TWEETERS OFF THE DOORS....... DO I NEED ANOTHER SET OF TWEETERS TO RUN OFF THESE OR WILL I BE OK TO RUN THEM STRAIGHT WITH A RD900/5 AMP?

You mean, do I need to run tweeters with the c7-350? No you don't, you can run these off only an amp but JL recommends an active crossover system. If you don't have an active crossover, just set the high pass filter on your amp to 300hz

Being JL's premier model I am sure they are underrated but I can tell you that if you put these on a JL Slash 300/4v3 they are loud and that's at 75W @ 4OHM. You can def push more but in my setup the 350's is a center dash and rear deck surround they more less compliment the entire system so 75W was sufficient for me. They scream tho ;-)

The recommended starting point would be around 500Hz for the high pass. The lowest you can set it is 300Hz.
