Simple and clean by design, easy to install. Does dent and scratch rather easy so be careful.

Works prety good, only downside is that it is kind of thin. Bumped it on my trunk latch and dented it instantly. Other than that it works great and does its job of protecting my sub

These grills are the main reason I buy JL Subwoofers. I like the clean look of the mesh grill. they fit perfectly and allow for more than adequate clearance for the high excursion driver. I just wish they were included with the driver. I mean you get grills when you buy door speakers, why not include them with subs too.
