6 3/4" did not fit right.

Description says they will fit up to 6 3/4", so I purchased Rockford Fosgate R1675X2 to go along with them. The Speakers did not fit the mounting brackets and the mounting brackets did not fit my 2006 Ultra Classic on the right side correctly. I had to do some "modifications" to make it all work. I do not like modifying new speakers to fit brackets that say they will fit. All together now, they seem secure, I probably over secured them just because I wanted to make sure my fabrications worked! I did not ask for help or contact customer service so I'm trying to be fair on the rating. I don't think there is anything they could have done except tell me to go down a size or try to offer a return. I was trying to get the largest speaker up front for best sound. Yes, I know bigger doesn't always mean better! I had all the pieces so I made them fit, I don't like dealing with returns and waiting for something else that might not work either.

Pros: I was able to get them mounted on my 2006 Ultra Classic SE.

Cons: Did not fit right on the Harley or the 6 3/4" speakers that I ordered with them.

Pretty simple part and simple design. They do what is required of the... Price is cheaper than the others and good quality. Would buy again if I ever get another Street glide.

Pros: Cheap. Quality. Durable. Easy to install.

Cons: While easy to install the "installation directions" leave a lot to be desired. They are simply disassembly directions for the outer fairing and old speakers. You have to figure out how to clock these so they fit properly on your own. Overall not a big deal for anyone that is a DIYer.
