Absolute garbage

Total junk , its plastic , it only seals around the wire not to the firewall / bulkhead or whatever you cut a hole into , when you try to tighten down , it deforms and skips a thread / backs off, it has no seal to seal up to whatever you cut a hole in to , so the wire is weather tight , but the grommet to the firewall / bulkhead has no seal , i added an oring but it wont tighten down to my liking because the plastic on the ahort sode is so thin it enlongates and skips a thread , your better of buying a grommet pack and just using that and some buytle tape to seal it off . Total junk , if it was metal it would be usiable.
Pros: Makes Crutchfield and shipping company money
Cons: Absolute junk , leaves you needing a patch panel an assorted grommet pack and to make another hole .

Very versatile

2017 Nissan Titan
Intended this to go through the firewall of my 2017 Nissan Titan but I could not find a place where I was happy with it. In my haste, I decided to come up through the floor by the sub box. Because of the thickness, I drilled the hole to where it would thread into the hole. It worked great and seals nicely.

This worked out perfectly and is doing a great job. This will be the only option for me now on.
Pros: Very snug fitting
Cons: Little bulky but what do you expect from a 1/0 grommet? Not really a con for me.

Works exactly as I need. Have to run a 1/0 gauge thur the firewall and this makes it a breeze.
Pros: Holds wire well when tightened down.
Cons: Would have been nice to know what size hole need to be drilled before hand. Fortunately I've got all the tools needed to make it work.

easy to use grommet

Works good and easy to use. There are no instructions to tell you what drill bit size is needed. The grommet I bought (8ga.) requires a 3/4" drill bit to drill through the firewall.
Pros: Easy to use, seems better than the traditional rubber grommets
Cons: Needs to at least list the drill bit size needed.
