Features
Overview: The Sennheiser Accentum Wireless (ACAEBT) headphones have a closed circum-aural (over-the-ear) design with Bluetooth 5.2 technology and Hybrid ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). The headphones come with a USB charging cable that can also be used to stream music or content from your PC or Mac. The robust rechargeable battery gives you up to 50 hours of playback time on a single charge.
Drivers: Accentum Wireless is equipped with 37mm Dynamic drivers to deliver crisp, deep bass and brilliant highs.
Bluetooth: The Accentum Wireless headphones have Bluetooth version 5.2 which pairs to your phone or audio device in seconds. You can make and receive phone calls and stream audio wirelessly in a range of up to 33', depending upon environmental conditions. The following codecs are supported: SBC, AAC, and aptX HD. The headphones also support the following profiles -- HFP, HSP, AVRCP, and A2DP.
aptX HD: The aptX HD codec was designed to support high-resolution audio over Bluetooth. It supports 48kHz/24-bit music so you can hear the smallest details in your music. Signal-to-noise is improved, giving you lower back ground noise, and distortion is reduced for higher quality sound. AptX HD is backwards compatible with (regular) aptX and aptX Low Latency.
Onboard Controls: The Accentum has a Main button on the right earcup that turns the headphones on/off, activates Bluetooth pairing, cycles through ANC and Transparency Modes, and activates the native Voice Assistant on your mobile device. The Music/Voice Control button lets you control music playback (play/pause, next/previous track) with one, two, or three presses. During a call this button mutes/unmutes the microphone. The same button controls phone calls (accept/end call, reject call, put call on hold) with one or two presses, or a long press. On either side of the Music/Voice Control button are Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.
Active Noise Cancellation: The Accentum Wireless headphones feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Four microphones, two outside the earcup and two inside the earcup, pick up ambient noise. The headphones cancel the ambient noise with an equal, but opposite, audio signal. ANC is most effective with low-frequency noise. In the Sennheiser Smart Control app, you can adjust the settings for ANC, including turning on/off the Wind Noise Reduction feature.
Transparency Mode: The Transparency Mode lets you stay aware of your surroundings while wearing the headphones. It lets you carry on conversations, listen to important announcements, or hear street noise and nearby traffic. Using the Main button on the right earcup, you can cycle through Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Idle Mode (not on a call or listening to music).
Smart Control App: The Sennheiser Smart Control app lets you control and personalize the Accentum Wireless headphones to your needs and convenience. In addition to configuring the Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode features (described above), the app offers an equalizer for adjusting the bass, midrange, and treble to your liking. Using your smartphone's touch screen, you can make adjustments to the sound by moving an onscreen dot up or down to raise or lower the selected frequencies. The latest settings made in the app are stored in the headphones, and will be active the next time you use the headphones, whether you use the app or not. You can deactivate the EQ by touching the center dot on the EQ graph to "center" the settings. The Smart Control app is available for iOS devices (requires Version 13.0 or later) and Android devices (requires Version 8.0 and up).
Rechargeable Battery: The Accentum Wireless headphones are powered by an internal, 3.7VDC 800 mAh Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery charges in about 3 hours via USB power (700mA max) using the supplied USB cable from a laptop, an AC-powered USB charging port, or a mobile 12-volt USB charging port. A 10-minute Quick Charge gives you up to 5 hours of playtime. A fully-charged battery provides up to 50 hours of music playback using both Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancellation. You can keep track of the remaining battery life through the multi-color LED and voice prompts, as well as on your connected smartphone or tablet.
Voice Assistant: The Accentum Wireless headphones is compatible with the Voice Assistant that is available on your mobile device, including Google Assistant and Siri. You can set up your Voice Assistant using the Smart Control app, and activate it using the Multi-Function button on the right earcup.

Mowing the grass became much more enjoyable with the Sennheiser Accentum headset. Not only does it cancel out the noise of the mower, saving my hearing, I can now enjoy listening to the radio while mowing. I wish I had bought these sooner.
