disappointed
Ned from Berkeley, CA on 7/24/2024
looked forward to these, but i was disappointed on two points. for this price level earbuds, they have an extremely primitive sealing system for your ears no matter what tips you try. second, the actual earpiece fell off the cable several times leading to me almost losing the most critical part of the whole set. i returned them. Crutchfield was extremely gracious about it.
Pros:
Cons: much better ear seal systems widely available.

Expensive; but I am glad that I bought them.
Michael from Webster, MA on 6/18/2024
Very accurate sound reproduction and they sit comfortably in my ears. I am still working on the best way to wear them when I am walking, so there is no noise from the chord.
Pros: Accurate sound reproduction. Very comfortable. Multiple connection options. Good isolation.
Cons: Carrying case could be slightly larger.

My review of the Sennheiser IE 900.
Barry from Maysville, KY on 5/21/2024
This review is a review of the Sennheiser IE 900. This is my opinion only and your opinion may differ. I find them to be very comfortable, light weight. I use the 3.5mm cables. I like the length of the cables not too long and not too short. I run the cables down my back under my shirt and this works great. My music files are lossless 16 bit but never have tried the higher 24 bit but for my ears I don't believe it would make any difference. The IE 900 have great sound, I'm very pleased with them. if you have the money I recommend them.

Exceptional
Oliver from Smyrna, GA on 2/22/2024
Build quality is exceptional. Great fit with many tip options for different size ears. (I prefer the medium memory foam tips.) Love that it includes three types of cables for a variety of connectivity options. Balanced 4.4mm works great with my portable DAC. Bass is incredible for an IEM. Mids are slightly suppressed, but not to a degree that distracts from the music I listen to.
Pros: Build quality, fit options, variety of connectivity options, bass and treble are phenomenal, nice carrying case.
Cons: Expensive, subtle mids.

Best IEM coming from the Hifiman Susvara $6k
Russ from SAN JOSE, CA on 1/9/2024
This was my 4th IEM and I am really a headphone guy only, but with my recent purchase of the little brother IE600 and blown away with its sound I had to try the IE900. At first I was loving the IE600 way more with the very sparkling treble not to harsh just enough and a great up front midrange that gives you a up and personal experience specially, from the piano. For me if an audio device can reproduce the piano correctly then everything sounds great. But after receiving the IE900 which takes at least 10-20 hours to break to experience a huge soundstage with everything sounding clean, fast, authoritative and the overall vocals I never thought a IEM could do this. This is coming from a $50,000 headphones setup and gear. My headphone chain is as followed Innuos Statement Server/Streamer > Chord Dave with MScaler > Woo Audio WA33 Elite with upgraded KR HP tubes > Hifiman Susvara. My chain for the IE600/900 were Innuos Statement > Chord Hugo 2 > IE600/900 and like I said I was extremely impressed with what I was hearing with no feeling having anything on your head and the IE900 being so light in my ears but still giving me a powerful experience. But after the IE900 were broken in I honestly felt that I didn't need the little brother IE600 and sent them back to Crutchfield which was my first ever return back to them and the overall return was outstanding. I highly recommend IE900 they really blew me away and made me really think about my current TOTL setup.
Pros: Huge Soundstage Awesome Vocals Authoritative & Impactful bass Comfortable in ears & lite Got them on sale -$500 off steal @ $1,000 Plays great with Chord Hugo 2 & Sony NW-WM1ZM2
Cons: Cable is okay but not too many aftermarket selections
