Got it put in our boat yesterday. Easy to install and so ready to boat out now.

Pros: Easy to install and set up. Little learning curve

Cons: No cons. Have had several garmin over the years

It has features not available on other makes of this size and price. Fish I D being one of the features.

Pros: has fish I D feature that can be used or turned off. Not to complicated to operate

Cons: Sonar is a little slow recovering from passing over a sudden steep drop off

Stop Wasting Time On The Water!

I have this fish finder mounted on my Big Fish 108 fishing kayak and I love it. I spent 3 months before I got the Garmin pedaling all over the lake in search of fish. The largest fish I caught was 3.5 lbs. Since installing the Garmin, I catch dozens of bass all over the lake. Being able to see the contour of the bottom helps immensely with bait selection and presentation. This Garmin is worth twice the $ I paid. If you're tired of below average fishing trips, buy the Garmin Striker Vivid 5cv and those days are over!
