Features

Marine LED Controller: The Garmin Spectra LC302 CRGBW marine LED controller lets you power and control your marine LED lighting from your compatible Garmin chartplotter or Fusion stereo (sold separately) using a NMEA 2000 connection.

Note: The Garmin Spectra LC302 CRGBW LED controller is not a stand-alone device and requires a NMEA 2000 connection to a compatible Garmin chartplotter or Fusion marine radio (both sold separately) for setup and control. Control through a compatible Fusion radio requires a connected smartphone running the Garmin ActiveCaptain app, available for iOS and Android devices.

CRGBW LED Outputs: The Spectra LC302 features three 6-wire LED outputs, letting you power and control RGB, RGBW, or CRGBW LED lighting (all sold separately). There's even an option for connecting LEDs that only support one dedicated color. The LED output type can be selected in the setup menu. Each output can provide up to 2 amps of output current for powering multiple LED lights.

Marine Rated: The Garmin Spectra LC302 carries an IP66/67 waterproof rating, making it impervious to even the harshest marine environments.

Compatible NMEA 2000 Control Devices: The Garmin Spectra LC302 marine LED controller requires a NMEA 2000 connection to a compatible Garmin chartplotter or Fusion marine stereo (both sold separately). If connecting to a Garmin chartplotter, all configuration and control will be made through the chartplotter. If connecting to a Fusion marine radio, a connected smartphone running the ActiveCaptain app (available for iOS and Android devices) will be required for configuration and control. Compatible NMEA 2000 devices include:

  • Fusion Marine Stereos:
    • Apollo MS-RA670
    • Apollo MS-RA770
    • Apollo MS-WB670 Hideaway Stereo
    • Apollo MS-WB675 Hideaway Stereo
  • Garmin Touchscreen Display: TD 50
  • Chartplotters:
    • ECOMAP:
      • UHD2: 6", 7", and 9"
      • Ultra 2: 10" and 12"

Compatible LED Systems: The Spectra LC302 can be used to power and control most standard RGB, RGBW, and CRGBW LED lighting systems, including select Fusion and JL Audio marine component, subwoofer, and waketower speakers (sold separately).

Light Zones: When the Spectra LC302 is connected to a compatible Fusion stereo through a NMEA 2000 connection, the LED outputs can be assigned to an audio zone on the stereo, allowing different lighting for each zone. The LED lighting can even be synchronized to the music playing in that zone.

Connections: All of the Garmin Spectra LC302 connections are made on the rear panel of the controller and include:

  • Power & Ground: The CRBGW LED controller includes Power and Ground wires for connection to craft's +12V or +24V electrical system. A pink/black wire on the harness can be used with an optional momentary switch (sold separately) for turning all connected LED lights on and off without having to access the chartplotter, stereo, or app.
  • LED Outputs: Three 6-pin connectors provide the CRGBW LED output wires, for use with RGB, RGBW, and CRGBW LED lighting. Each output can provide up to 2A of current for powering LEDs.
  • NMEA 2000: A 5-pin NMEA 2000 port provides the connection to your NMEA 2000 network and compatible controller device. A 14" NMEA 2000 cable and T-Connector are provided for connection.
