Paid for itself
Crutchfield customer from Southern, MD on 1/23/2025
After wrongly being charged with causing a crash in 2023 I said 'never again' and outfitted every vehicle with one of these and the biggest memory card available. Fast forward to 2025 and on day 3 of the new year someone decided to full steam ahead through a red light. As luck would have it there was a Police car who was there and got a front row seat to the demolition derby. Who was at fault was of no question but the recording this camera provided will be the cherry on top for the pending litigation. The camera is solid and has survived everything from zero to 120 plus degree interior temperatures. Controls are ok, I am of the set it and forget it type. Occasionally I have found it will glitch up and freeze and not respond to the buttons but the voice control still functions. Because I have the trip point sensitivity set very high it does generate a lot of saved video's besides the normal recorded files that would get over written eventually. Regularly formatting the card and not letting it fill up with 1000's of files seems to prevent that from happening. As a daily check every time I get in the vehicle and hit the ignition switch I say "OK GARMIN" to trigger the voice activation and ensure everything is on and running. So far it has never not been at the ready. The mounting is solid and the power cable provided is more than long enough to route it nicely and have a clean installation.
Pros: Small size tucks up nicely behind the rear view mirror so as not to obstruct your field of vision or be a visual distraction.
Cons: Should include at least a 'starter size' memory card to get going.

Good, solid dashcam
Kevin from Powder Springs, GA on 1/1/2025
I have a Garmin Dash Cam 46 and have been very pleased with it, so I decided to stick with Garmin for the wife. I selected the 67W and have been very happy with it so far. Could I have gotten more bells and whistles or spent more on a dashcam? Obviously yes, but the 67W meets our needs. So far, we're very pleased with it.

Great compact camera
Todd from South Jordan, UT on 12/31/2024
Overall the camera does everything I'd hoped for; ease of use, size, and portability. It is compact and provides nice features such as an easy-to-use screen interface. I would give it's function 5 stars but I give it an overall 4 stars because it doesn't come with useful instructions. I had to search the internet to understand its features fully. Also, I am using it in two vehicles so being able to easily remove it from the windshield is important and it would have been nice to know that I didn't need to purchase an additional mount for the second vehicle since the kit comes with 2 adhesive magnet "buttons" that the mount secures to.
Pros: Compact Easy to use Can be easily switched between multiple vehicles
Cons: Poor instructions

Easy to program and download needed phone AP. Connection to camera from my phone was easier than a competitor's camera installed in child's car.
Pros: Small size and large enough viewing screen.

I see that I could have purchased this unit from garmin for less than Crutchfield. I have not installed it yet and considering returning it. I sent an email regarding a credit towards future purchases with no responds.

Garmin 67W
David from Simi Valley, CA on 6/5/2022
So far this camera has been great. Easy to set up and operate. I like the Garmin web interface. Everything has been great. Only thing I would change is I would not buy a wide angle camera. Doesn't work well in my vehicle, too much OEM stuff on my windshield. My mistake, not the camera. I learned something which was part of the reason I started with a fairly inexpensive camera. I highly recommend Garmin dash cams.
Pros: Easy to operate. Excellent web interface.
Cons: Wide angle was not my best choice.

Garmin 67W
Crutchfield customer from Anderson, IN on 12/19/2021
Overall not a bad dashcam. Great features and easy to operate. My only complaint is it's hard to read license plates unless very close to the vehicle in front of you.
Pros: Great features. Easy navigating the menu. Park mode.
Cons: Hard to read license plates unless close to the vehicle in front of you. Little overpriced.

This Garmin is a winner!!
Crutchfield customer from Gresham, OR on 12/4/2021
Great camera, easy to use, and very small. Has no problem understanding my verbal commands and executing the job. The magnetic mount makes it easy to move to another car. Got 2 power cables, in my case, one for each car. Would recommend it to a friend.
Pros: Small, all-black finish makes it harder to see from the outside.
