I have not used it very much yet but if its as good as my old one which i had about ten years before someone stole it I will be happy.

Replacement for an older Garmin. Display quality is sharper, seems to be quicker keeping the location pin pointed. Use a good time for off road use.

It may not be as easy to use has My old 50, but I only have it a week, I only used it one time so fare. Do I like it ,( YES, it's a Garmin the only GPS I would use, I do use Google maps for somethings) I will have my Drive 53 on my dash when I go to the MSP AirPort SATURDAY. One thing I like, if you go past the right St. it will recalculate befor you get to the next block. Don Luedtke

terrible customer care sell unit but not right acccessories

dont order garmin produts from Crutchfield they send you hook up gear that doesnt fit your product my unit cant be hooked up 2 any produt they sent me the ball is 2 big for the part that has hole for ball unit the big one i got the ball is 2 big for any hook up and they quit getting the right parts im sure that customers are using the produt that the vechiels have in newer vehicles so im screwed

Bought my 1st Garmin in 2000. I had to navigate st Louis on my job and I didn't know many streets, and there are hundreds of them. When it quit charging I bought a TomTom. I have yet to figure out how to turn it on. So recently I bought another Garmin. Back in business, easily. Planning a trip to Branson, MO soon for the shows.

Very happy with this unit. Perhaps I still need to figure out some of settings but there are some things my old unit did that this one does differently. Guess I just need to get used to it.

The Garmin 53 works really well & even as a first-time GPS user I was able start navigating with it after a quick review of the instruction manual, charging the device, and experimenting to get a feel for how it works & what to expect while taking a short trip ride in my local area. It performed as advertised & I'm looking forward to having it available on my next road trip!! Crutchfield Advisor Dante was extremely helpful in assisting me in making the product selection that was the best fit for my needs. Troy Cash, Cary NC
Pros: I like having a portable GPS device to keep it simple on the road & not interfere with my cell phone!

Your website is easy to navigate. You have great products. Thank you for offering extended warranty, although I don't believe I will need to return my items. The GPS is a great replacement for my older one. I purchased a second GPS for my Mom. She's in her 80's and I pray the GPS will help her to drive more. I have been using Garmin for years. My old Garmin Nuvi finally stopped responding to the touch screen, so I knew it was time for an upgrade. My new Garmin Drive 53 has replaced an older version. I am still getting used to the new screen, but one thing I noticed is the new Garmin tells me the upcoming streets. Good to know since I am new to the territory.
