My car was total loss in an car accident and the cameras were a plus for my lawsuit. The magnet stayed on as the cameras went flying off after the impact but kept recording. This mount saved the cameras, so this was the best purchase ever to put back on new car. Would do it again.

Packing problem

Product itself was fine. Someone decided to peel the back off the dash sticky pad and put it in the shipping box. Needless to say it was stuck to the inside of the box. Had to peel from the packing box,scrape off old adhesive,then replace with double side tape before i could install in my vehicle.
Pros: Good solid product
Cons: Backing was removed and product was stuck to the inside of shipping box.

Quick Switch

Great for being able to easily move my Garmins from one vehicle to another.
Pros: Makes it fast to switch dashcams from one vehicle to another. Easy to affix to either the windshield or back hatch

It that one thing you loss when your car is totaled! That one part you have to have and I am so glad you had it and it saved me over $50 by being able to reuse my old car cam by getting that little nub that stick to the glass.

It holds my Garmin Dash Cam 55. Very convenient magnetic place holder. Can pop on and off for quick removal and asy to put back.

Works like original.
Pros: Small and easily installed.
Cons: All you need is the metal piece and adhesive if you want to switch between vehicles. Harmon should sell just those.

This mount works to good, dont know what that guys is talking about, because I had to get new windshield and couldn't get the sticky part off and it was 102 deg outside. The only complaint I have is the camera should come with a spear!!! Now I had to pay for just the sticky part you stick to windshield, didn't need the actual mount but couldn't find just the sticky patch ya stick to windshield.

Lousy designed mount

This product came without proper instructions. Dealer should have carried proper replacements and did not. When I final got it installed I had to wait 24 hours before using it, not a plus. The magnet worked fine but the sticky patch did not work well when vehicle was parked in the sunshine. It was fine during the cool Spring weather but when I left it parked in the sun when temperature was 80 + F the camera started falling down. It was the sticky patch that was becoming unstuck due to the heat. This mount was poorly designed and Garmin has no substitute replacement on the market. I have a simple design idea that would work very well if Garmin would like to contact me.
