Yeah, these guys are the trick for the Frontier rear door. These sound better than the Rockfords u out in the front doors!
Pros: They bolt directly in, using factory plug as well.

simple install. okay sound. will probably sound better with an amp..

well.. it was a very simple replacement of the stock rear speakers on my 2014 Xterra. perfect fit. but due to 4ohm bump, the volume got a hit, so dont expect it to be loader than your OEM without amp. I've paired it with kenwood 1057xr without any rewiring. It sounds okay but it's nothing comparing to the effect I got by replaceing 6x9 fronts and dash tweeters with kenwoods.

Installed several months ago in my 2000 Nissan Frontier and am very pleased with the performance. Definitely as good or better than the OEM speakers.
Pros: Great sound and good bass with older Pioneer 24 watt head unit.
Cons: Did require drilling new mounting holes.

Too easy, decent sound, with a few tweaks
Matt from Phoenix, AZ on 8/7/2024
2015 Nissan Versa S
Easy installation and much improved sound over the stock speakers, which are garbage, so soup cans on a string would've sounded better. They come properly packaged with good instructions. It took me less that 10 minutes per door to swap them in, but I would guess that my my 84 year old mother could do it in the same amount of time. It's THAT easy. I gave a 5 star review because the speaker does exactly what it claims to do, and is a direct swap. However, I'm not sure why they call it a PowerBass. It could be called a PowerMid, if they wanted to be accurate. Now, we also have to consider that the Nissan Versa is made of aluminum foil, so it's no surprise that the sound is tinny. My solution... I installed Dynamat all over the inside of the door, and on the plastic surrounding the speaker location on the door card. This added heft to the speaker enclosure, and reduced vibration almost entirely in the door card. Once this was done, while not a bumping sound, the bass from the speaker has a nice, tight punch. I couldn't expect much more from a 6.5" speaker. I think, in addition to these speakers, a small under seat sub would really compliment the overall sound quality. So would I buy them again? Yes, and I have, to install in the rear doors.
Pros: Super easy, good price, good sound
Cons: None for the speaker, but your door enclosure might need some sound deadening material to take full advantage of the speaker's capability.

I purchased an "open box" set of these speakers, and the box and the contents were like new. The instalation instructions and resources that Crutchfield provides on their web site are wonderfully easy to understand. I had my daughter time me, and I had completed the instalation in both doors in 22 minutes, and with no issues or damage to the interior. The sound that these speakers produced was far superior to the factory speakers, and without changing-out the radio or power source, these PB speakers produced great clean sound even at higher volume. Also, considering the size, the bottom end that they produced, was a pleasant surprise. Over all, I was not disappointed, as these PB speakers surpassed my expectations.
Pros: Proce, sound, Crutchfield support and resources.
Cons: None

2012 Nissian Frintier - rear door
David from Metairie, LA on 5/26/2024

As seen in attached photos, the speakers arrived well packaged and protected. Following removal of door panel, unclipping speaker's lead and removing screws, the speakers were a direct install The fader knob was employed to shift the left and right channels, and with one old speaker left in and a new speaker installed, the new one offered greater bass and mid-range response The OE radio's volume was affected by the new speaker's ohms
Pros: This OE install required no drilling or cutting of wires
Cons: Suggest in any installation that the owner buying a box of door panel clips. No matter how careful one or more will break

Bought these dent/scratch ones due my girlfriend stock front passenger speaker blowing out on her 2018 Nissan Sentra. I have to say these have brought music life back to her, she loves how clear they make the music sound. Really easy to install it's literally "plug in & play" method nothing difficult, only challenging part is removing/learning to remove the door panels but after that it's Easy Peasy
Pros: Sound that comes out of these speakers are great, great price, I recommend buying speakers for all around the car so that it makes the car sound much more better
Cons: I have no cons,

Thank you for having exactly what I needed for my new used Nissan rogue. Unfortunately I didn't realize the entire audio system was blown until I got home with the car. Thanks to you I was able to replace both my front and back speakers MYSELF because of your great instructions. I love my new speakers and the sound they put out. Now I just need to replace my amplifier. Definitely coming to Crutchfield to get one, and maybe install it, since I think it's going to be a bit more complicated than the speakers.

Well I have always thought that Crutchfield is a great place to get electronics especially for your car. The first thing I bought from them was a Blauntpunt AM/FM Auto reverse cassette player for my car back in the 70's then later the 6X9 trialle speakers to replace the factory installed speakers I rather quickly blew out. So when I blew out my speakers in my Nissan Rouge I immediately thought of Crutchfield. So I was shopping around on the CF website I saw these which are designed to replace the factory installed speakers. Crutchfield made this so easy with detailed instructions and clips included. So easy thanks to them. And the speakers sound much better than the factory ones - thanks Crutchfield keep up the good work!

OE Upgrade for sure! The OE-style fitment was a treat, no need to purchase anything extra, like trim rings, or having to splice wires, it is an exact OE fitment with a greatly improved quality of sound, both powered from head unit, or from a standalone amplifier.
Pros: Exact fitment Better sound than OE Can handle more power

Good for replacement in Nissan, but not an "upgrade."
Charles from San Diego, CA on 1/17/2022
2021 Nissan Leaf
Bought these for a 2022 Nissan Leaf S Plus that does not have the Bose system. The stock speakers are bad, and if you are reading this then you already know that the stock speakers lack the clarity in the high notes and sound muffled in the mid and bass. These speakers are perfect fit. All the holes line up and connectors snap without problems. Construction of the speakers looks to be higher quality than the stock speakers. BUT, I am a little disappointed with the sound so far. The high is still lacking the crisp clarity I was hoping to get. The bass is not as important for me, but mid and low do show slight improvement. The less than fantastic sound may be due to me replacing only the fronts and I'm still hearing the bad stock speakers in the back, which are actually positioned closer to my ears than the fronts are. At this point, I'm not sure if it's worth investing this much again for rears when I am already less than impressed with the front replacements.
Pros: Perfect fit in my 2022 Leaf. Quality built
Cons: Sounds just ok.
