Good option to factory speakers
Dennis from Newport, WA on 6/14/2025
2009 Nissan 370Z
Fast shipment. On installation, discovered one of the tweeter frames was broken, but Crutchfield got a replacement on its way to me right away, so 4 days later I had the installation complete. Good instructions, easy installation, truly plug and play for my Nissan, with no drilling or messing around with fabricating mounts. Sound quality is better than factory speakers. Unfortunately for me, I think to get the best sound I'm going to have to replace the factory head unit as well.
Pros: ease of installation

Good speakers, but not OE replacements
Chad from ARVADA, CO on 11/1/2024
2001 Nissan Xterra
The speakers sound great, but they are not original equipment drop-in replacements like Crutchfield says they are. My son bought a 2001 Nissan Xterra SE, Crutchfield claims these are drop-in replacements, however the mounting holes do not line up for the woofers (I had to drill new ones). There is no way to mount the tweeter in the existing OE tweeter bracket (I had to fabricate my own method of mounting this, involved more drilling and buying parts at the store). The pig-tail connectors that come with the kit do not match the OE connectors in the door (I had to cut ends and splice the speaker connectors to the speaker wire directly). Crutchfield sent no instructions and there is no information on how this should mount in the vehicle they say the speakers are a drop-in, OE replacement for. Once again, Crutchfield let me down. AND, the first box I received was missing parts: connector wires and mounting brackets. I was told by Customer Service that typically if I say there in one item missing, the take it from another box and mail it. I obviously got the box they had scavenged MANY part from in the past. I can't find a good reason to continue buying from Crutchfield if they are not accurate with vehicle fit and no longer provide instructions on how to install. I bout component speakers a couple years ago from them and had to have them professionally installed because Crutchfield could not help with the installation, again for a direct replacement product
Pros: Good sound.
Cons: Crutchfield is not telling the truth about these being OE replacement for Nissan vehicles of my year.

Great speaker

2014 Nissan Sentra
Great speakers. Bought these as a direct replacement for the door speakers in my 2014 Nissan Sentra. Simple plug and play and they even come with the correct wire connections if you don't have the stock connections any longer. Paired these up with the Sony Xms400D amp and these speaker really came to life. Only con is the tweeters are not marked for correct polarity. Crutchfield was helpful with this, the brass colored wire is positive and silver is negative.

Very happy with the sound in my 370z and had the adapters I needed! along with 3 holes for mounting not the usual 4, which is a huge plus for the 370z which has 3.
Pros: fitment and quality of sound
Cons: just be aware the PB logo on the speaker is upside down when installing the proper way, must be for when youre looking down at the speaker through the grill standing by the door, not sure.

High quality and perfect fit
Brendan from Golden, CO on 10/14/2022
2008 Nissan Altima
These speakers produce very nice sound and deep bass. Higher quality than the factory Bose in my opinion. Good instructions. The only detractor is that the tweeters' polarity wasn't labeled so had to call tech support. But other than that I'd recommend these for anyone wanting a factory upgrade without having to purchase adapters, etc.

Needs an external amplifier
John from Myrtle Beach, SC on 9/22/2022
2013 Nissan Leaf
Although of superior construction compared with the factory Bose speakers, the factory head unit can't adequately drive the 6-1/2". It sounded like a midrange speaker. Absolutely needs a separate amplifier. Overall sound quality was degraded, much to my surprise - even if I was to accept the lower sound output, the sound balance was way off - it sounded like a stiff cone midrange. Crutchfield's warning about it being 4 ohms (factory are 2 ohm), and lower SPL per watt is not enough. Also, the tweeter is much larger and is not a drop in replacement in the front pillars and had to be set farther back than stock.
Pros: Superior construction
Cons: Not a match with factory head unit.
