These XL-52SS 5-1/4" speakers feature oversized 1" Mylar dome tweeters with a special diffuser, so they deliver clear, crisp highs. A unique "trampoline" gasket hugs the tweeter pole and protects the voice coil from the elements. The durable polypropylene woofer cones handle the lows and the weather with equal aplomb, while the powder-coated steel baskets, gold-plated input terminals and durable mounting gaskets ensure that these speakers will give you season after season of rockin' performance. The 3-ohm impedance safely gives you a little extra punch from these speakers, whether your powering them with a radio or an amp.
