Overview: XQD memory cards are part of a new generation of media for digital cameras, camcorders, and other devices. They are designed for professional photographers using high-end DSLR cameras and 4K camcorders. Physically, XQD cards are smaller than Compact Flash, but larger than SD cards. This XQD G-series card has a capacity of 64 GB.

Transfer Speeds: G-series XQD Memory cards have a write speed of up to 400 MB/s, and read speeds of up to 450MB/s. The XQD memory card's higher data transfer speeds lets you achieve stable continuous shooting by quickly clearing the memory buffer. XQD G Series memory cards, with their extremely fast write speeds, let you capture up to 200 RAW images in a burst -- approximately 1.5x more than the fastest Compact Flash cards.

Protection: This XQD memory card has an extremely durable external shell. The contact pins are recessed to protect them from dust, electrostatic shock, or damage from impact. The G-series card is tested to withstand 5-meter drops (16.4 feet). The extremely rigid shell is tested to 50 newtons of force to prevent flexing and bending caused by repeated insertion into card slots. In addition, the card is magnet proof, anti-static, and offers full performance in extreme temperatures (-13°F to 149°F), or under exposure to intense UV light and airport X-ray machines.

File Rescue Software: The Sony G-series XQD memory card is compatible with Sony's File Rescue software, which helps recover damaged or lost data. File Rescue uses an advanced algorithm to recover RAW images, MOV movie files, and 4K XAVC S movie files, captured on Sony and Nikon devices. Sony's File Rescue is available for free download to devices running Windows 10, Windows 8.1, or Windows 7 only.
