Wireless Rear Speakers: The SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers are designed specifically select Sony active soundbar speaker and Sony AV receivers. The SA-RS3S connects wirelessly to the soundbar speaker or AV receiver via 5.0 GHz RF. The wireless rear speakers provide your compatible Sony soundbar or AV receiver with dedicated left & right surround channels that enhance your home theater experience.
- Compatible Soundbars: HT-A7000, HT-A5000, HT-A3000, and HT-S2000
- Compatible AV Receivers: STR-AZ7000ES, STR-AZ5000ES, STR-AZ3000ES, STR-AZ1000ES, and STR-AN1000
Note: Only one set of SA-RS3S wireless rear speaker can be connected to a compatible Sony soundbar or AV receiver.
Auto Connect: The wireless rear speakers automatically connect to a compatible Sony soundbar speaker system when you power them up, so you can enjoy cinema-quality surround sound right away. Wireless connection to a compatible Sony AV receiver requires manual pairing.
2-Way Driver Design: The Sony SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers feature a two-way driver design with a single soft-dome tweeter and one oval cone woofer to achieve rich sound and exceptional clarity. The drivers are housed in a bass reflex enclosure with a front-firing port.
S-Master Digital Amplifier: Each wireless rear speaker employs a Sony designed S-Master digital amplifier rated at 50 watts for for dynamic, clear sound with low distortion.
Mounting & Placement Options: Each wireless powered rear speaker features a keyhole slot to mount the speakers flat against a wall (screws sold separately). Each speaker also features a M5 threaded insert for using with optional articulating wall-mount brackets (sold separately - see Accessories Tab). You can also simply mount the wireless powered rear speakers on stands (sold separately - see Accessories Tab) or shelves.
- The wireless rear speakers should be positioned behind or directly to the side of your main listening area.
- The speakers should be mounted a little bit above ear level when in your seated position.
- The wirless rear speakers can be positioned up to 30' from the soundbar.
Note: The wireless powered speakers are labeled on the bottom for Right or Left location.
Power Requirements: Each wireless powered rear speaker comes with a detachable 6.5' AC power cord which will need to be plugged into a AC wall outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab).

Wow, what an addition to my Sony HT-A7000 soundbar. Sony creates great sound, but the addition of these read speakers make the experience fantastic! I have a room with windows on 2 sides, this system gets beyond that and fills the room with great sound
