Quick fix to losing fader control

I lost Fader control on my 2024 Jetta when I added new speakers and an amp. Tried all kinds of things that didn't help. Made a call to Audio Control and they said I needed these. Ordered them and fixed the problem right away.

Good, simple product. Perfect for interfacing with factory systems

Bought them and ended up needing a different model (60s). They work and help when connecting to an oem system.

Great knowledge from great experts

On newer trucks for some reason the head units have to sense that speakers are present in order to send a signal out, so, when in line converter will not work, unless you throw in these load generators, they worked perfectly. Had I not come to Crutchfield for some of my other audio needs I would not have known this was the case thank you Crutchfield, for providing a solution that was very simple to integrate.

A must-have for adding multi-channel amp to factory systems

The AC-LGD-20 is the correct resistors needed for my 2023 Ford F-150 with the base, non-amplified factory system. This enables the factory radio (ACM or Audio control Module) to be tricked into thinking a factory speaker load is still detected.

2021 Jeep - Un-amplified System FIXED!!!

ISSUE: I installed a Kicker Key amp in Bi-amp mode to power 4 new kicker speakers installed in the fronts of my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2 door. I had issues with the stock radio not sending signal to the aftermarket speakers. Some research revealed that the stock radio senses the impedance of the installed speakers and will cut off the signal to a channel with a different speaker impedance than stock. As suggested by many websites I soldered 47 ohm/5 watt resisters to each speaker channel before the amp. This worked fine in the warmer months but sometimes one or more speaker channels would not come on when it got cold outside. Solution: I removed the resistors and installed this AudioControl AC-LGD 20. Now all 4 speaker channels come on every time!! I am so thrilled to finally have this issue resolved. Great product with an EASY install! Tip: BE SURE to select the correct product for your vehicle. If you have a late model Jeep with an amplified stock system you need to use the AC LGD60.

I have 2017 Dodge Ram that I replaced all speakers and added amp. Was having random issues like no sound from speakers and distortion. After doing some research I realized this was a common issue with new Chrysler vehicle and they need LGD's to fix the problem order these because they went with my audio control amp and fixed the problem sounds great.

Works like a chime (charm)

I installed an AC D5.1300 and lost chimes, seatbelt, and blinker sounds on my 2021 Silverado. On some vehicles, you need these LGDs in order to get any audio at all after amp install. However, my audio worked fine except the chimes etc., so I was stumped as well as the audio installers. Decided to give this a try and this product fixed my issues. I installed one only on the line for the front speakers since that's where the chimes are. Now I don't have to ride with my blinker on unknowingly bc I can't hear it blinking..lol

Lost Starlink service in Subaru but stereo works

2022 Outback Wilderness. Used these to connect to an Audio Control LC7i from the factory stereo. I wasn't getting sound from rear speakers and my factory volume control was non-functional before I connected these. Only reason I took off a star is because once I connected these, the StarLink module light went from green to red and some of the related menus and functionality appears to have been lost (ie. emergency service notification in the event of crash). I haven't been able to get that restored but at least the stereo now works.

AudioControl AC-LGD 20 Load Resistors

Finished wiring up and installing amplified speakers in a 2016 Ram using the LC7i spliced into the original speaker wires. When it was time to turn on the sound, the head unit was working fine but no sound was being produced. After several hours of head scratching we concluded the head unit was detecting no load since the original speakers were removed, thus was not sending a signal. After trying to locate some resistors to splice into the original speaker wires we stumbled across this contraption. Ordered them, quickly installed, and presto - instant sound! A perfect fix for my problem. Now its time to tune the amps.

Solution for no sound from Jeep stereo

Exactly what I needed to get my factory Jeep stereo to integrate with the 8ch Audison amplifier. The factory head unit recognized the correct speaker load and turned the speaker output back on.

2017 ram necessity

When you install your entire system and know that everything is good but there's no sound.... The AC-LGD20 from audio control fixed the issue. Literally a "plug-in and play" simple add-on.

Most have for a Dodge factory Stereo!!

My 2019 Jeep Cherokee (no factory amp) had me racking my brain when I had no sound after replacing all the factory speakers, installed an LOC, 5 channel amp, a sub and had no sound. Tested everything and could connect a DVD player to my amp and had sound on all speakers. Finally found out newer Dodge factory stereos protect themselves and won't emit sound when it doesn't see resistance from a speaker. Simply installed these between the factory stereo and the LOC and bam everything works great. Glad Audio Control addressed this issue and made these. Just wished I knew that sooner would've saved a huge headache.
