This really woke up my epicfive amp! I was able to get the voltage up to what it needed to be to be able to lower my gain on the amp thus getting rid of my alternator whine. Super easy install with the epicfive amp as it came with a pre-made power cord. Easy to adjust.

The matrix works exactly as described. If you think your system sounds good without it, then your in for a surprise when you hook this gem up.
Pros: Compact, boosts line voltage.
Cons: Power connector is small, as it always has been. Use proper size wire to avoid shorting it out.

Great product, Just now finishing the instal and tuning , however I am loving this and the DQDX paired together . Thinking about adding the bass restoration processor also .

I had alternator noise and static coming out of brand new Rockford Fosgate T2 components and when i bought this and hooked it up it WOKE my speakers up and gave me a lot more gain

Added this awesome little piece to my system and it made my Infinity Kappa Perfects come alive with the Infinity Kappa 4 pushing them. Night and day difference with the volume and my gain control almost down all the way. Thanks Crutchfield for the swift and awesome packing job on the delivery. Next addition is my alpine type x and alpine x- a90m. Will be installed tomorrow finally cuz of this matrix plus.

Alot of potential

I was going to have it installed by a local shop, they do good work, but scheduling is a month out and I do not get my work schedule that early, Did it myself, needing a few extra items. 12 AWG wire, rubber feet, and some RCA'S. It took 3 hours in blazing heat to get it in and conceal it all, but worth it. Build and sound are great, very flat response, but extremely more dimensional and natural sounding. A little more tuning and all will be done. Nice.
Pros: Smaller size, dynamic gain, price.
Cons: The Phoenix connector is a bit small. Take time if using 12 Awg wire, don't need wires crossing there...
