Overview: The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro outdoor security camera watches over your property day and night, with additional features that enhance your home's protection. The camera features 3D Motion Detection and Bird's Eye View that accurately pinpoints movement in your yard and alerts you immediately. The dual 3000°K LED spotlights can light up a wide area and deter intruders that enter your property. Spotlight Cam Pro connects to your home's Wi-Fi network on either the 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz band, so you can view the streaming video on the Ring app directly from your computer or smart device. It has a microphone and speaker for two-way Audio+ capability. The Spotlight Cam Pro is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, and comes with a mounting bracket and hardware.

Camera: The battery-operated security camera has a wide-angle lens with a 140° horizontal and 80° vertical field of view. The camera produces bright 1080p HD video with HDR (High Dynamic Range) in a Live View that you can watch on your phone, tablet, or computer. Adjustable motion sensors cover a wide arc, and can detect movement up to 30 feet away (based on a 10-foot mounting height). When motion is detected, the LED spotlights will automatically turn on, and a notification will be sent to your smart device through the Ring - Always Home app. Even with the lights off, the camera's infrared LEDs will enable the color night vision.

3D Motion Detection: The Spotlight Cam Pro features 3D Motion Detection that provides accurate detection of movement from a distance, so you can be alerted when intruders enter your property. Ring's exclusive radar-powered 3D Motion Detection can pinpoint distances, so you'll be able to determine the exact location where the motion was detected. This technology also lets you create the unique Bird's Eye View that provides an overhead view of your home and yard. Bird's Eye Zones are customizable in the Ring App to let you map out specific areas of your yard that you want covered, and other areas you want to ignore.

Pre-Roll: The Spotlight Cam Pro is always rolling so that it can record the few seconds before a motion alert is triggered. Pre-Roll adds approximately six seconds to the video recording, enabling you to view the event that actually triggered the motion alert. You can configure Pre-Roll in the Ring - Always Home app with the following extra features: Color Pre-Roll records the six seconds in color, while Advance Pre-Roll captures the footage in 1080p with full audio.

110dB Siren: The camera features a 110-decibel siren alarm that will help scare off any intruders. The siren is remote activated from the Ring App on your smart device or computer.

Weather Resistant: The Spotlight Cam Pro is designed to be used outdoors. It is resistant to inclement weather and temperature extremes (-5°F to 120°F).

Installation: The camera can be mounted on an exterior wall or under an eave or overhang of your home. Once you have selected your mounting spot, you will need to first install and level the mounting bracket. The bracket can be installed directly onto wooden surfaces, or on masonry/stucco structures using the provided wall anchors. Once the bracket is installed, the camera securely locks into place on the bracket. The camera has an integrated ball-and-socket adjustment that lets you position the camera for your desired view. The camera must be installed where there is a strong Wi-Fi signal. A minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps is required.

Wi-Fi: The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro operates on an 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection on either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band. Connecting the camera to your home network allows you to view your camera's live stream or recorded videos from virtually anywhere on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The camera is compatible with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant smart devices, for listening to notifications or viewing the video feed from an Echo Show or Google Nest Hub smart display.

Power: The Spotlight Cam Pro is powered by the included rechargeable battery pack (3.6V, 5800mAh, 20.88Wh). The camera has a second battery slot for adding an optional Quick Release Battery Pack, sold separately, to essentially double its battery life. The battery has a Micro-B USB port for charging with the included cable. On the back of the camera is a USB-C power input for adding an optional Solar Panel (USB-C), Plug-in Adapter, or Hardwired Kit (all sold separately).

Ring - Always Home App: The free Ring - Always Home app pulls together all of your Ring devices, including Video Doorbells and Security Cameras. The app sends you an instant alert when someone triggers the camera's motion sensor, or rings your Ring Video Doorbell. You'll be able to see, hear, and speak to anyone on your property using your smart device. In addition, the app lets you create a virtual Neighborhood Watch and receive alerts from your neighbors. In the app, you can customize the Motion Zones, times for receiving (or not receiving) alerts, and how often to be notified for motion events. The Ring App is available for Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 14.0 or later, and for Android devices running version 9.0 and up. The app is also available for Windows 10 and macOS 10.11 or later.

Ring Protect: The Ring app includes a free 30-day trial of Ring Protect, which lets you save, review, and share recordings from the app. Ring Protect plans are currently* $3.99 per month / $39.99 per year for basic coverage (one camera), or $10.00 per month / $100.00 per year for Protect Plus (unlimited cameras).
