Overview: The Shure GLXD24R+/SM58-Z3 Digital Wireless Handheld System is designed for vocalists, presentations, and other spoken word applications. The system includes a GLXD4R+ Receiver and a GLXD2+ wireless hand-held microphone with an SM58 capsule. The GLXD24R+/SM58-Z3 operates in the dual-band 2.4 and 5.8 GHz spectrum, which doubles the available bandwidth to avoid interference without audio interruption. The included lithium-ion rechargeable battery can provide up to 12 hours of operation on a single charge. The GLXD24R+/SM58-Z3 has an operating range of up to 100' and can provide rock-solid RF performance for multiple system installations, and includes hardware for rack mounting.

Z3 Tuning Bandwidth: The Shure GLXD24R+/SM58-Z3 features dual-band technology, allowing it to operate in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz spectrum in the Z3 frequency range:

• 2400-2483.5 MHz
• 5725-5850 MHz

GLXD4R+ Receiver: The GLXD4R+ Wireless Receiver is designed to provide exceptional digital audio quality. Its automatic frequency management system allows the system to automatically switch frequencies without interrutpion if interference is detected. The system settings let you select either dual-band operation (default) or only the 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz frequency bands. The GLXD4R+ features a built-in charging port for the included SB904 Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries used by the GLXD1+ and GLXD2+ transmitters. The GLXD4R+ LCD screen provides a constant indication of the system's status. It displays the selected Group and Channel numbers, an audio meter with overload indicator, and the transmitter gain. It also provides an accurate indication of the remaining transmitter battery life. The GLXD4R+ is equipped with two removable 1/2 wave sleeve dipole antennas. The wireless receiver features a balanced XLR output that can be set for either Mic- or Line-level signals via a 2-way switch on the rear panel. A 1/4" Instrument/Aux jack is provided for running to a mixer, amplifier, or recorder.

GLXD2+ transmitter/microphone: The GLXD2+ transmitter is housed in a durable aluminum and ABS handheld chassis with integrated SM58 dynamic microphone cartridge. The SM58 is the industry-standard microphone cartridge, tailored to deliver warm, clear vocal reproduction with a cardioid polar pattern. The transmitter/mic is powered by the included Shure SB904 rechargeable battery, providing up to 12 hours of operation time. The SB904 battery can be recharged in the Receiver's charging port, or using an optional SBC10-904 charger (sold separately). The transmitter/mic features an On/Off switch.

Rack-Mountable: The GLXD4R+ receiver includes brackets and hardware for installation in a standard 19" wide rack. Additional mounting plates and brackets are also provided for attaching 2 receiver units side-by-side and mounted in a single rack space. The GLXD4R+ chassis is 1RU in height, but a half-rack size in width.
