The Shure MXC425/C microphone lets a presenter's voice be heard loud and clear in a conference room setting. It's 25 inches long, with a flexible section near the base for easy angle adjustment. A 10-pin connector on the base is compatible with Shure's MXC and MXCW conference units only (sold separately).

Its cardioid polar pattern picks up the voice of a single user and rejects ambient room noise for maximum voice clarity. CommShield® Technology filters RF interference from mobile devices and other equipment that may be in use nearby.

Overview: The Shure Microflex MXC425/C is a professional quality gooseneck microphone that is designed for speaking environments, such as meeting rooms, lecterns, pulpits, and courtrooms.

Note: Mounting base and cables are not included.

Compatibility: The MXC425/C is designed specifically for use with Shure Microflex Complete (MXC) digital conference systems and Shure Microflex Complete Wireless (MXCW) conference systems (sold separately).

Construction: The Shure MXC425/C features a sleek steel shaft with a flexible gooseneck base. The top of the microphone consists of a compact condenser microphone cartridge that's mounted with a flexible rubber base, helping resist bumps and shocks. A snap-fit windscreen is also included. The MXC425/C is designed with a streamlined appearance for contemporary meeting spaces.

Cardioid Pattern: The MXC425/C has an R185 Cardioid cartridge installed with a 130° wide polar pattern. The cardioid cartridge has a frequency response that's tailored to improve speech intelligibility and reduce feedback. Microflex microphone cartridges are interchangeable. You can purchase other cartridges from the manufacturer to change the polar pattern for different installations. Other available cartridges include the R183 Omnidirectional, and R189 Mini-Shotgun.

CommShield Technology: The MX418/C includes built-in CommShield Technology which provides improved immunity to RF noise caused by mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices in close proximity.

LED Indicator: The MXC425/C features a two-color LED light ring below the microphone cartridge, that illuminates when the conference unit is active or in request-to-speak mode. This clearly identifies the speaker to other members of the meeting, even under bright lighting.

Connector: The MXC425/C has a round mounting base with a built-in 10-pin modular connector, designed to be used with Shure Microflex Complete and Microflex Complete Wireless conference systems.
