Nexadyne 2's Revonic™ Dual-Engine Transducer Technology design offers some distinct advantages. Any soundperson will tell you that capturing the sound of the kick drum can be tricky, but the two internal transducers give the microphone twice the opportunity to capture the natural sound of your drums, resulting in crisp, clear reproduction that often eliminates the need for EQ. This dual-motor design also allows the mic to cancel out most of the background noise, eliminating the need for the traditional shock mount in the housing.

Features

Overview: The Shure Nexadyne 2 (NXN2) microphone is a professional supercardioid dynamic microphone that's designed for kick durms and other low-frequency instruments. It features an integrated mount with up to 130° of tilt angle, and tensioning knob for fast and easy positioning. The NXN2 includes a 5/8"-to-3/8" thread adapter and a zippered storage pouch.

Dual Transducers: The NXN2 microphone features Shure's Revonic™ dual-engine transducer technology that uses two matched transducers that are electrically out of phase with each other, cancelling out unwanted vibrations and mechanical noise while providing vivid sound clarity. The dual transducers feature a supercardioid polar pattern for strong off-axis rejection and reduced stage bleed.

Construction: The microphone has an industrial design with a black metallic finish and grille for an unobtrusive visual presence. The black reinforced mesh grille protects the dual-transducer cartridge from damage, and can be replaced if needed.

Mounting: The Shure NXN2 comes with an integrated tilt-mount stand-adapter with a 5/8" thread and a 5/8"-to-3/8" thread adapter insert. The mount lets you tilt the microphone forward or backward over 130° and has a tensioning knob that allows you to quickly and easily position the microphone.

Connector: The NXN2 has a 3-pin male XLR connector integrated into the rear of the microphone. No microphone cable is included.
