Overview: The IsoTek V5 Corvus power bar helps improve the performance of your audio and video components by significantly removing noise from the AC line. Corvus' delta filter topology eliminates both Differential mode and Common mode interference, and reduces Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) by up to 35dB. It has nine 3-pin US power outlets that are connected individually to the central circuit board, so there's no cross-contamination between components. Corvus also provides protection from power surges and voltage spikes. Its dimensions are 6-11/16"W x 2"H x 15"L, and it weighs 4.32 pounds. V5 Corvus comes with a 1.5-meter IsoTek EVO3 Initium power cable in the box.

Design: The V5 Corvus power bar is housed in a sleek extruded aluminum chassis for long lasting performance. The unit can be wall mounted behind your equipment cabinet using the included hardware, or simply placed behind your audio rack. It has nine top-mounted US 3-prong outlets, and a fused IEC C-14 power input for the included Initium power cable. Its Delta Filter topology offers more than 20dB power cleaning at 1kHz, and up to 42dB at 10kHz. Isotek's KERP© (Kirchoff's Equal Resistance Path) ensures equal power delivery and equal resistance to all outlets. It is internally wired with 2sqmm conductors with silver-plated, pure 6N oxygen-free copper strands. These conductors are protected by an FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) dielectric.

Noise Filtering: V5 Corvus is designed specifically for connecting home audio and video equipment. It features highly effective noise filtering that eliminates Common Mode and Differential Mode, and reduces RFI by up to 35dB. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) are detrimental to audio and video performance. Filtering out noise can enhance the sound of your audio components and improve the picture on your TV or projector.

Isolated Outlets: The nine AC outlets are all individually connected back to the power input, rather than in series with the big copper bus bars typically found in lesser power strips. The individual connections eliminate any harmful Differential Mode cross contamination between your connected components. In addition, the V5 Corvus uses a star grounding scheme for each outlet to effectively prevent ground loops.

Protection: V5 Corvus not only reduces noise, it also protects your valuable component from dangerous power surges and voltage spikes. The power bar offers up to 45,000A of instantaneous protection, with IsoTek's unique sequential protection system.

System Link: The V5 Corvus power bar features a System Link outlet (Neutrik powerCON connector) on one end for connecting additional units together in a daisy-chain configuration. When a System Link cable (sold separately) is connected, the entire system maintains a starred-earth reference (grounding), and eliminates the need for multiple wall outlets.

Initium Power Cable: The V5 Corvus power bar comes with the IsoTec EVO3 Initium power cable. Initium power cables use three parallel conductors (2.0 sqcm each) that are precisely wound inside the jacket with a slight rotational twist to reject RFI and EMI noise. The conductors are made of 99.9999% pure 6N OFC (oxygen-free copper) for good conductivity. The EVO3 Initium power cable is terminated with high-grade molded connectors with nickel-plated, solid OFC (90% copper/10% zinc) conductors (IEC C-13 + US 3-pin plugs).
