Bose Sub 1
Mark from Lewis Center, OH on 6/12/2022
I purchased the Bose S1 Pro before I purchased the Sub 1. The S1 Pro and Sub 1 are meant to be together if you want a complete, well-rounded sound to your recorded music. I set my Sub on a platform called Sub Dude, which removes the booming sound and enables a more tight and focused effect on bass notes. The two are very musical; vocals are the sweet spot with this combination, particularly love songs, duets, and standards. I would say that the Sub brings depth and range to recorded music, like the placement of horns, violin, and drums on a sound stage. Creating a sound stage, again to recorded music, is not the strength of the S1 Pro on its own. It shines outdoors, which can be a very challenging setting.
Pros: It performs as advertised.
Cons: When the volume knob is at the halfway point, eventually, it will vibrate turning the bass down on its own. Then the music presents less bass than what is intended.

Great sub!

Took me a while to decide how many stars to give this sub. Decided on 5. The sub is a little boomy. Which is why it took me a while to decide between 4 and 5 stars. After listening to it for a few weeks I'm amazed at the amount of bass that this thing makes. I have bigger, louder subs, but this one is remarkable for its size. I'm currently using it with. A pair of Bose S1's. They combination is fantastic. If you are looking for a compact system that is easy to transport, setup and sounds way better than it should for its size, this might be for you. It is admittedly a little pricey but I feel you are paying for both quality, and convenience. Looking arbor that way, this is a great value.
Pros: Amazing output for its size Deep, clean bass Compact Pairs great with the Bose S1
Cons: None when you consider it's size and performance.
