2017 Camaro Non Bose
Larry from Kershaw, SC on 6/2/2024
2017 Chevrolet Camaro
Works as expected. Was not looking for obnoxious sound, just wanted to add a little bottom-end bump to factory system. I am thankful that I used a friend who has 20+ years experience working in a Chevrolet shop, who specialized in electronics, to install. But that speaks more to Chevrolet than Bazooka. F. A. S. T. harness made connections easy once the proper wires were identified.
Pros: Great sound. Takes up minimal space in an already tight Camaro trunk space.
Cons: Mounts could be a little more sturdy, but that is just nitpicking.

I still love Crutchfield
Curtis Richa from Rogers, AR on 10/10/2022
2016 Honda CRV
I was trying to hook this up to a Honda CRV with the stock mid level touch screen radio. I called tech support twice and they where very helpful identifying the wires i needed for the quick connect. I hooked it all up and powered up my vehicle. I saw the anit-theft request code screen then it went blank. I ran out of the car to try and figure out the radio code. It never powered up again. I called tech support and they had no answers. So i spent the next day trouble shooting it. I eventually disconnected the tube all together and started checking fuses. I blew my 7.5 amp accessory fuse. I replaced it, hooked it back up and it blew it again. I called tech support. The wires they told me to connect may or may not have been wrong, but I needed a fuse bigger than 7.5 amps. I now ordered a new radio that has a dedicated wire for the sub, $800 dollars later. I was going to replace the radio anyway so I said what the heck. I honestly don't know yet what it sounds like,. lol. If I had a power antenna or another accessory wire it probably would have been fine. I still believe their tech support is the best ever and I will always order/recommend them. Crap happens they cant account for everything.
Pros: The quick connect seems easy enough, you still have to bury/hide the wire,
Cons: The schematic they have may not be accurate for my vehicle but I still believe in them.

Setup was simple, fits vertical in a 2008 Honda Fit with all seats up. Only downside is the size of the wires make them difficult to hide. Easy to adjust and works perfect in my car. Great price for a great product.
Pros: Lightweight, simple controls, strong bass.
Cons: Large wires, included straps are short.

**What Was Missing And Needed**
Crutchfield customer from Dallas, TX on 3/21/2021
2014 Honda CRV
Exactly what was missing and what was needed!! Added the perfect amount of bass to my aftermarket setup. Paired with a high powered aftermarket receiver, component door speaker, with no external amplifier, the Bazooka changed the whole dynamic of the sound on an impressive level. Also used the Bazooka (RBCM-100 Remote Control Module) and so very happy that I did.. This way you can adjust on a per song basis conveniently from the drivers seat. The included FAST wiring harness made things so much easier, and with its use there is no need to run a fused wire from the battery to the tube. (No fire wall hassle) I do absolutely recommend following the manufacturers guidelines for proper placement of the tube to optimize corner loading for the best possible sound. Because of the huge difference this unit made in my vehicles overall audio system, I no longer feel the need to spend the time or money installing an external amplifier. Oh, I almost forgot, as always Crutchfield's customer service and professionalism just can not be beat.
Pros: -Fast easy installation -Perfect amount of bass -Saves money and space
Cons: -None

It can bang!
Kevin from LAS VEGAS, NV on 11/1/2020
There's nothing like accurate / tight bass to enhance an audio system. My pervious set up was 2 10's in a sealed box w/ 500 rms. If this is your first sub or just want something to fill in the gaps on your current system. You will be VERY happy! Just play around with the placement of it, cause that can make all the difference in sound and the mount of bass you feel. For Bass Heads: Some songs will really surprise you. Childish Gambino "3005", Kid Cudi " day and nite" hit soo hard, but 90's hip hop and most rock the sub lacks that tight punchy bass. Hook up is super easy with the f.a.s.t. connection, used the rca's to an aftermarket headunit. I have this in a 2015 wrx, with the sub facing the trunk about 4 inches away. All and all great product, it will do its job and surprise you as well, but for some of us more experienced bass heads, you will want more.
Pros: Easy hook up, lite weight, price, low bass, adjustably
Cons: Lack of punchy bass, not the must accurate, user instruction

Easy install, sounds pretty good in Focus Sedan, enough bump to satisfy the Teen Driver...
Pros: Easy install, good low freq response for it's size.
Cons: Mounting system was marginal, no frequency control on the sub, only a phase switch, remote level control has small range, 1/4 turn and its up to full.

OK bass from a great tube
Ed from MD on 12/28/2018
2015 Hyundai Genesis
Added to a Hyundai Genesis factory stereo and for what you get it's just a step above the factory sub in the car. Problem is with only 100 watts the tube doesn't have the power or any bass or frequency controls so you end up getting full range through the speaker, so on some songs it sounds great and others terrible. You will need to package this with maybe a 2-way electronic crossover and maybe a capacitor to get it to sound great. I'm about to upgrade to the 250 watt amp, Crutchfield JBL S3-1024 SUB, I have a kicker 3 way electronic crossover and a capacitor to try to get it to sound better for myself. Just to let you know this tube may be enough for alot of people but i had a 12'' eclipse sub a kicker 3-way crossover, a kicker amp, and a capacitor in my old vehicle which had some serious bass!! For my new car i chose not to go that route and wanted something to give the factory stereo some extra kick but this sub didn't do the trick so thats why i'm upgrading the amp.
Pros: Getting a great tube with ok bass
Cons: little power, no bass or frequency controls to dial in bass for your liking

Robert from Fargo, ND on 6/3/2018
Install was pretty easy with the fast connect harness to my factory radio. Bass is good but not overpowering. Will shake the back window in my CRV but you can't hear it very loudly from outside of the vehicle. Really just rounds out my music with some nice low end thump.
Pros: Easy to install. Sounds pretty solid. Doesn't take up much room.
Cons: Packaging is pretty weak. Mine was fine but I could see how these could be damaged in shipping.

Nice Bass
Ren from Woodbridge, VA on 7/10/2016
Ok let me start by giving thanks and paying homage to the CS rep from the customer service department. I bought the 8 inch 50 watt powered Bazooka sub and I loved it, however I wanted a tad more bass and also wanted the bass knob control for on the on the spot bass adjustments that are important to me. I exchanged the 8 inch sub for the 10 inch powered sub with the 100 watt amp and all I can say is boom. Night and day difference. My rep made sure that the exchange transaction was flawless. Kudos to her customer service skills, she is an asset to the Crutchfield team SUPERSTAR comes to mind. This tube is perfect for me, I was able to keep my factory radio premium (2013 VW GTI 2 Dr) and all its functions in tact. The FAST wiring is a must unless you go with the more powerful tube. This product again is not going to win any SPL contests or blow you doors off but it does provide great bass to complete the sound spectrum. I listen to all types of music, rap, jazz, gospel, metal etc and this tube place all music well. I hope That this review helps other. If you have a GTI, Golf or Golf R this product is for you.
Pros: None
Cons: It is a little large but what do you expect. I still have a good amount of room in my hatch back area.

Great Product
thadfield from Douglassville, PA on 5/31/2016
This is exactly what I wanted. I needed something that would add some extra "oomph" to my factory stereo. The sound is great. The product itself is perfect. I was looking for something that I could easily take out when hauling large items in my SUV and would be protected enough when I have my dogs (2 pits and a bull terrier) in the cargo area. I definitely recommend and love Crutchfield. They were great when I ordered the wrong product (without the amp) initially; the return, refund and new purchase were flawless.
Pros: sound quality, ease of use, durability, functionality, quick disconnect.
Cons: none

Bazooka tube
Mike w from Florida on 9/2/2015
This is the 4th bazooka tube, but first amplified one. Overall the sound is incredible. For my tastes the tube is the only way to go. It fits behind the front seat. I have one in a Corolla And just installed the amped one in a Tacoma. Not trying to impress the neighbors but it is an hour commute each way and this helps pass the time. The sound is incredible. Certainly adds the bottom end so the rest of the speakers can do their job and not have to hit the bottom.
Pros: The sound for the space is incredible.
Cons: The amped Bazooka doesn't have the flexibility when compared to a Bazooka run off an amp.

Nice!
Eric D from Florida on 7/19/2015
This subwoofer tube is perfect for an add on to factory audio system. It is surprisingly powerful for its size. It's not going to shake your neighbors' Windows when you drive down the street but will give your passengers in the Back seat a nice back massage. Would definetly recommend! Two thumbs up!
Pros: Powerful for it size. Can easily be removed for more trunk space but actually does take up much room at all.
Cons: Make sure you hook up the wire that turns on the tube and remove bypass connector on wire harness and have switch on tube in the correct position or you think you just waisted your money.

Awesome portable sub!!
JodyP from Edmond, OK on 6/1/2015
Bought the Bazooka BTA10100FHC 10" sub for my wife's 2012 Toyota Rav4. The install was super easy once I found out how to take the dash apart (YouTube video) and get the radio out (easy peasy). The FAST 9999 connectors worked perfectly and were easy to install. Routing the cabling back to the sub in the back was again super easy. There is so much room in the dash and the door sills. The sub sounds good and really does bring that extra 30% of the sound out of the factory stereo. The sub enclosure is solid and beefy. It's big, and we could have probably gotten away with the 8" version, but she likes to really "feel" the boom!! :o)
Pros: Quality product from Bazooka with great sound! Portability between vehicles with the FAST 9999 connectors. Crutchfield customer service / technical advice. Outstanding!!
Cons: None.

Did not install it, but I bet it sounds great.
eeutep from Arizona on 5/28/2015
I ordered the Bazooka BTA10100FHC for my 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Crutchfield does not yet have wiring diagrams for Hybrid models. Although I've been looking forward to increasing the bass in my vehicle, I ended up not installing it after putting it in the trunk for a fit check. I decided I didn't want to try and tap into the factory stereo by trying to figure out which wire is which (don't have diagram for it). Also, It's pretty big and was not willing to compromise the already small trunk space in the Fusion Hybrid. I bet the Bazooka sounds great, but it's definitely not for those with space constraints in their vehicle. I'm rating the product 5 stars because the build of the Bazooka seemed great and the Fast connectors that come with it seem very simple to use, albeit one small confusing point. I did read through the install instructions and only one thing was confusing: The instructions said to connect the power wire directly to the battery using a fused wire (which was not included), but other reviewers and the instructions that came with the FAST connector said to just tap into your stereo's power. I know Crutchfield would be able to clarify any questions with a quick phone call or via e-mail.
Pros: - Seems to be built to last - FAST harness simple to use
Cons: - Not for space constrained vehicles

Great powered sub!
Eric from Boston, MA on 3/16/2015
This purchase is exactly what I was looking for. After replacing my door speakers with 6.5"'s and losing a lot of bass response, I wanted something that would bring it back. This sub does that and then some. It's just as powerful as the two 10" Dual Subs I had back when I was a teenager. Great acoustics, bass response, and low end. The FAST kit that comes with this unit makes it so easy to install. A monkey could do it. No connections to the battery required. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something that is self powered, easy to install, and looking to even out the low end. If you're looking for something to rattle your neighbors windows though - this isn't the sub for you. My only complaint is the volume control switch costs extra.
Pros: Easy to install Great bang for your buck
Cons: Doesn't come with the control for sub volume- have to purchase separately.
