Great for motorcycles

Direct easy fit replacement in a 2014 Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero fairing. Sounds great and seems much more durable than the factory speakers. Obviously sound is subjective at 70-80mph, but definitely an improvement overall.

Incompatible with Speed Dependent Volume Control

These do not work with an original Harley Davidson radio for Model Year that it says they do. They do fit with minor modifications, but if you have a stock radio, this isn't the ticket. If you have an aftermarket radio they are probably just fine. The speed dependent volume control function is incompatible. At least with my 2005 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. I have been in touch with technical support, they don't have any information. I am going to go look at the specifications of the speakers once again to see if I can find where the problem lies. I am thinking ohm specifications is the cause. I will update if I can determine what the issue is. I put the upgraded HD Boom speakers back in, they work fine, technical wants to send me chasing grounds, that isn't the issue, It is incompatible. I even turned the adjustment level to zero which essentially defeats the SDVC, no change. Sounds great sitting still, start moving, it is a whole different story, crackles, pops, cuts out, distorts. You name it. I had to modify the grilles, hoping that I can process a return on them. We will be finding out as I contact Crutchfield again to help resolve the issue that I am pretty sure there is no fix for. Which is a shame because the Harley Davidson upgrade Boom speakers only lasted a few years before the cones disintegrated. At this price, you think they would be marine grade for exterior applications on a motorcycle, but they are not. Disappointed as that is the only offering.

Awesome for the money. I needed to pairs for my motorcycle fairing. Let me tell you. These are well worth it. Paired with a kenworth marine unit. I used for 2000 miles and never turned the volume past level 23. At 83mph cruising I could hear them crystal clear as if it was in my helmet. Highly recommend these speakers. Went through a storm and sat in rain without issue.

Great sound and value. Only thing I wasn't clear on, is these speakers included grilles, but only if you were using them in the front fairing. Had to use the old factory grills when putting them on the tour pak

1998 harley bagger speakers

I installed these on a 1998 harley bagger, perfect fit, sounds very nice, speakers could use a small amp if you wanted a little more volume at higher speed. The bang for the buck it is recommended, you will be happy.

Victory Cross Country Tour

The site says these will not fit a Victory Cross Country, or a Cross Country Tour; these speakers fit both the fairing, and the trunk locations, without any modifications.

Good fit

Easy install in my 2013 Victory Cross Country Tour fit in fairing and trunk without having to cut or modify anything . Sound is good I am running the stereo up grade system from Victory and also the saddlebag kit from Victory much better than the speaker that came in the bike and the upgrade kit from Victory.

Excellent customer service

Speakers sound pretty good. Sonny went out of his way helping me match these speakers to my motorcycle. I own a Kawasaki and not a Harley but Crutchfield only lists items for Harley. He did quite a bit of research to help figure out what speakers (size and ohms) would work in my situation.

Speakers sound good not as much bass sound as I was wanting but you can't get much bass sound out of 51/4 inch speakers so I'm satisfied with what I got.

great looking

Great looking speaker, good price. Don't know how it sounds yet, haven't hooked them up yet. Going to start working on the trike in about 2 weeks. I will post a follow up when finished, but i anticipate they will be fantastic !!

Speakers were said to fit in a Harley batwing fairing but for 2017 FLHTP I had to MFG a bracket for them to fit in the fairing

At first look didn't thing these speakers were any diffrent than my kicker speakers. These powersport speakers did make a diffrent and I'm now able to hear clearly at higher speeds. As expected they did perform as advertised. These speakers did perform satisfactory within the lower spectrum but would like to see more thump coming out of these speakers especially for this price range. Overall I'm completely satisfy.
