Great affordable amp

This is great amp and is working well for me. This is my 2nd amp so I have a 4 channel powering all speakers and this mono amp is specifically powering just my 500 watt rms subwoofer. This amp puts out about 600 watts at 2 ohms so is a good match for my 500 watt subwoofer wired at 2 ohms.
Pros: Affordable, works well, good power, 2 ohm stable and even 1 ohm stable. Small in size.
Cons: No clip light or DSP but you can't expect this stuff at this price point so not really a con.

Big power for a low price point. Worked great for my Kicker 12". Be sure you're able to add a remote power and 12v turn on to make this run.

Started off skeptical about the power of this amp when I saw the size but I was 100% wrong. This thing packs a punch in its small size. I have at powering a 12" Kicker L7122 shallow mount duel 2 ohm sub wiring down to 1ohm. This amp is 1ohm stable at it powers the sub with ease and does not get hot no matter how loud I play. I have the kicker bass knob wired as well for added tunability depending on the song. Amazing amp.

thumps 2 12" speakers like its nothing, doesn't get that hot at all, i have it behind the backseat of my truck if it gets a bit too hot ill flip the seat up open the window for about 5 minutes, not thump the music and it will be cooled off pretty fast.

I installed this 800.1 for my 10" 4 ohm Kicker TCWC104. The amp is 5 stars just need the 2 ohm version of this sub to match my kicker 360.4 powering the doors from my kenwood 7709s/Maestro. Not feeling the bump as much as I like but that's because matching bass watts to mids and highs is a learning curve. I'm listening to metal and rock music where album production can be all over the map as well so dialing it in to cover a range has taken some work to maintain clean sound.

Great for the Kicker TRTP122. You must be above RMS speaker power around 15-20%. Do not get the CXS400.1T. It will under power for anything 400 rms and above.

i was mislead by the sales rep when i called and ask him if i should get the 800 or 1000 amps for my kickers comp subwoofers that i brought as a set at Crutchfield the 800 doesn't have the power im looking for my kicker comp set to hit hard i feel like its missing more power i wish i would of listened to my gut and brought the 1000!instead of the 800'watt unfortunately i send them an email the following day to stop my order and i would pay the difference for the bigger amp but no one got back to me

This is my second time using this amp, and we actually installed it today. It is running in 4 ohm with a 12" jbl. This system is also using a crux interface and a jensen head. We have this amp pushing a pair of 12 inch Kickers, in sealed boxes, mounted in place of the center console of an f350 super cab - it's an absolute beast. The amp never cuts out, hasn't overheated, and has more than enough power to rattle windows a few blocks away. I'm still breaking in the subs, but holy . . . The doors and corners are stuffed with Eclipse components, and a Pioneer deck controls everything. Wiring the amp up was extremely simple. It's mounted in a fairly tight spot, and I expected heat issues, but nothing. We use the truck for cross country road trips, and 12 hours of strait-up abuse doesn't faze this amp. It hits hard consistently, doesn't overheat, and pushes a pair of 12's with ease.

Bad ass lil powerhouse! I own three of these, in 3 different vehicles and set ups, I have no complaints or disappointments. Always recommend this amp, brand and Crutchfield to friends and family.

Incredible 800 Watt Amplifier

Absolutely incredible raw clean power delivered to my 07 Kicker 10" CVRs. Maybe it is matching Kicker with Kicker, but WOW I have had these subs for 10 years and they have never sounded this amazing with any other amp I had powering them. I never knew they could be so pure and deep, and they were already good sounding before!! Can't wait to add two more so a total of four of these CVRs to this amp at a 1 ohm load. And the crazy part? This amp is TINY but it does not get hot AT ALL, even after a solid hour+ of heavy bass songs. I don't know how in the world Kicker did it, but for this amp to be so small and so efficient with amazing output quality just blows me away. And at 1 ohm stable! I would give this little beast six stars if I could. The first picture shows both of my kicker amps behind my huge ported enclosure with two 07 10" CVRs: the left one is a DXA250.4 and is twice the size of the CXA800.1.

This is a great little amp at first I wasn't that happy with it but it came alive and it really drives my l7s 12 4 ohm dvc got it to replace my jbl club a 1000 while it was being exchanged and after I got the stadium amp back it just wasn't up to par I will stand by kicker on this one

I've used Kicker in the past and its 100 on what its rated at. This amp is small which is good for any setup and its certified for more than 800. I have 2 one each on a comp Q 10 and I always get asked what you running 15s? Don't let the size fool you, kicker if anything is legit to what they rate their stuff at. Awesome amp

Great entry level amp for ported subs. I wish the subsonic filter was switchable to "off" for sealed setups but its fixed at 25hz which should be perfect for most ported setups. I also wish the lowpass slope was 24dB but at this price you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. Dollar for dollar this is a great amp with honest power and real 1 ohm stability.

I bought this product to run my kicker L7 10" (kicker 44TL7S102) after running multiple amps and I am more satisfied with this amp. It's a perfect match compared to the other amps. I like the fact that it's preset on the subsonic at the recommended frequency this subwoofer is intended to play at. The amp and subwoofer are in a 2001 Silverado single cab and the sound quality is perfect. Perfect lows and perfect response. I like the fact that it's so small I can fit it anywhere.

This amp is unreal! It's compact enough to fit under the seat of my 4Runner, but came with an amp dyno sheet measuring 859 watts! This is a TON of power for this price amp, and with the Kicker name you know it'll sounds good and last!

It's a decient amp. Much smaller than I expected. Makes it easy to hide or conceal where ever u want. It pushes my 15in 1500 watt skar pretty well. However the amp can only put out 800 watt rms and my skar is 1000 watt rms. So it still can't push it to it's max. I'm sure u could find something out there for the same price or less that was better if u look hard enough.

Absolutely a beast in a super tiny package. Running it at 1ohm w Alpine type r 12 Birth certificate said 909 watts. I tuned the system w a multi meter to 28.4 volts. That was at about 1/4 gain. Fits the Cruchtfield 4g wire kit. Using high level input to turn it on w a set of jl rca Jeep JLU 5" stereo

2016 Nissan Rogue
Couldn't ask for a better amp to push my Kicker CompC. The bass this amp produces is very clean. A particularly interesting thing I love about this amp is that it comes with a certificate showing what power rating it was tested at in the factory. Mine tested a power output 50 watts higher than advertised. All in all, this amp pushes accurate and clean sounding bass while packing a punch and I couldn't be happier with it.

Not same Kicker quality as in past

Small footprint amp. More powerful then it looks as test sheet says 823 watts. Needs adjustment for subsonic filter. Some low bass frequencies are not even heard. Also the built in fail safe integration technology (FIT) does not work as advertised. Still have noise and interference coming through sub. Also when using high level speaker inputs, the bass rolls off at higher volumes so it is not keeping the input clean. Even with gain and bass boost fully up, the Kicker 12" L7 was not being maxed out. My 10" kicker comp in sealed box was twice as loud. I even took vehicle to local audio performance shop and had them look at it. They verified connections and settings were good but amp high level speaker input must be bad as it didn't sound right. They suggested buying a line output converter. So I purchased a separate line out converter (AudioControl LC2i Pro) and it does sound better but still have noise and interference coming through sub. Not happy with performance on this amp so far and Kicker has always been my go to brand!

Cons: Need subsonic filter adjustment. FIT technology doesn't work properly. You will need to purchase line output converter if using speaker level inputs.

This little amp packs a punch powering a Kicker 10" l7t @2ohms 600w. Bass is super clean and tight and not "boomy" which is what I was looking for. It barley gets warm to the touch at a decent amount of volume . This amp is a keeper considering the flexibility of load outputs if ever I decided to change a sub setup .

This is an amazing amp, if you watch any of the dynos online you'll see it's underrated. I have this powering a single ported Sundown SA-10 D2 and couldn't be happier. The amp is so small/easy to hide, you can't go wrong with this one. I also have the CXA1200.1T for another build but I have a love for this 800. It seems nearly as powerful and you can both save $ on the amp and the wiring kit since it's less demanding.

rated at 800 watts at 1 ohm... Kicker send paperwork of tested wattage.... 912 watts.. pushes my Alpine type R 10 hard. Big power, small package. Ran it hard and it was barely warm

Easy install, works great with Kicker bass knob (not included) and hits hard bass in speaker. I'm running it on 1 10" Punch but will soon upgrade to two kicker L7 10" after talking with Kicker... Small size allowed me to install under seat of Mustang with no problems...

2012 Ford Mustang
I had purchased an infinity k600 amplifier online and had nothing but problems with it (defective). Installed a Kenwood DMX7706s, some infinity door speakers, and a single JBL CX1200 sub woofer with a box that I built into my 2012 Mustang. Swapped out the amplifier for this one and the high pitched whine that I thought was a ground loop noise went away completely. This amp is also a huge improvement performance wise as well, not to mention it's 2/3 the size of the infinity and run incredibly cool. It sounds exceptionally clear. I would buy another one of these amps if I were to do a similar system. It's definitely a good bang for the buck and I appreciate the fact that these amps are tested before they're shipped out.
Pros: -Great construction -Great sound -Fixed the noise in my system (doesn't mean it'll fix yours, I spent a lot of time trouble shooting) -Comes with mounting hardware -Compact and runs cool

Hey to whom is reading, honest review here. I purchased this amp as well as the dual 12s 44dcwc122 600 watt rms, so there for this amp SLAPS. It delivers the right amount of power to my 12s so they hit HARD. my gain is at 12 Oclock, i turn my bass boost knob 1/4 way and this amp delivers pure power to my 12s. Ps, i havent had any temperature issues, maybe due to the fact its under seat next to ac vent in summer time...

This amp packs a lot of power! I hooked this amp up using an LC2i converter to power my dual 10" Kicker Comp C subwoofer box. I have the gain on the amp turn up only 1/4 of the way up and the bass is ridiculous. I'm very pleased!

I replaced a ZX 450x2 the newer CXA 800x1 and the bass sound hits so much harder and a tighter bass the amp is and sounds great! Thanks to Dewight and the technical support line I have a great sounding system probably the best I've had in years!
Pros: Easy install great power and adjustability I'd recommend the 800X1 to anyone with 2 10s and maybe even 2 12s depending on what kinda 12s we're being used!
Cons: I have been having some issues with the CXA 800x1 going in to protective mode for some reason I've checked power coming to the amp with car running and OHM levels everything is fine I hope I can resolve the issue before the 60 day return policy I have called tech support and have got several different reasons and settings for the amp hopefully in the next few days I'll have everything working correctly and the amp quits shutting off or going in protective mode!

great amp from kicker, small form factor. have it wired up to the kicker dual compR 43dcwr102 ported enclosure with (2) 10" compR subwoofers and this amp makes them bump have not really pushed this amp since i am still breaking in the subwoofers but man this amp is fantastic! for reference i have the amp and subwoofer box installed in the trunk of a 2008 accord coupe with the amp screwed into the back of the subwoofer box. So far amp has only got luke warm at best not super hot, and that is listening to the instructions of having at least 6" spacing between where the rear seat folds up and the amp itself

Small package with a big bang! Has my compr 12 inch speakers banging so hard! No issues except it runs a bit warm but that's expected after hours of playing music very loud.

Was recommended by an advisor to power my two JL 10's in a sealed box for my 2016 Silverado. Small enough to fit under / behind rear seat not in the way of the under seat sub box. The bass knob (extra) is well worth the money! Clean, hard bass. Very satisfied with this product.
