Bass in a tight place

Amazing bass in Porsche Boxster. Designed a custom footwell box. It hits so hard it's amazing. JL500/1 amp. Can't go wrong with this especially in a Porsche with very limited space for bass.

This baby slaps! I had ordered one originally that came in the sealed Kicker enclosure and it was so called "refurbished" (not from Crutchfield of course) it lasted maybe a month barely being used. So I ordered this replacement sub and couldn't be happier. The other one never had the punch that's coming out of this one. I'm happy with my purchase just as I am with anything I've ever gotten from Crutchfield. Oh and I did have to contact customer service due to a carrier mistake and they handled my need right away so thank you very much!! Always a pleasure doing business with them since I started in the 90's.

Sounds great! It gives you the bump you need to make your aftermarket speaker upgrade sound way better. Sounds better than the factory subwoofer ever could.

Installed 2 in a custom sealed box behind back seats of a Tacoma, powered by 1000w sundown amplifier. Had in about a week now, about 20 hours played so should be broken in some, and once tuned right these sound great. Very punchy and high fidelity in a sealed box and 2 of the 10s sound nice for the airpace of a truck cab. Great power handling for a small box 10, and the fact they can go to a .4 cubic foot box is great for install. Mine are about .6 each chamber. Also big for my particular behind seat install is that the woofer excursion is only 9.2mm, and this helped a bit to add more clearance and maximize box space. The low end is definitely good even with the low excursion, and when tuned right with a dsp. I am using "half" a dsp id say with the dq61, but restoring the factory headunit signal is a must or even an aftermarket headunit could output weak signal. When done right these things handle power and hit hard. Good shipping and service from crutchfield as usual.

Hits Like Two

I have been out of car audio for about 25 years now. I wanted something to replace two other speakers that came with a Gen 1 SVT Raptor that I recently picked. I didn't realize it initially but one of the speaker terminals failed and only one 10" L7 was hitting. I was impressed by how low the bass was hitting compared to the two older speakers. After discovering that only one sub was moving I began to troubleshoot. It turned out that the original terminal crimp let go. I re-crimped all the terminals and tested the system again. I was blown away, they sounded larger than what they actually are

Excellent speaker

I only have 1 of this installed in my truck and it makes a world of difference . Nicely equalized makes a deep bass sound . Most importantly is a shallow speaker. I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised.

Installed 3 of these in my 2019 Toyota Tacoma behind the back seat. Purchased a box online got it and running sounded ok and then broke the box. Lol. Cheap box makers! It's a good thing I used to be a sound tech and box builder. So I built my own box using 3/4 particleboard. Installed it and this thing pounds!! And I am only running 400 watts per sub at 2.7 ohms to the amp. .66 cubic feet sealed box. I could add another 300 watts to the system if I wanted. But my JL audio amp is maxed out at 1200 watts. Great speaker

Worth every penny!!

I'm definitely satisfied with Crutchfield service. I did my Super Duty interior with Kicker KS Series and I'm very pleased with the results. I recently decided to add a set of Kicker 10" L7T's Solo Baricwith a custom under seat enclosure. I definitely made the right choice. These are my new go-to.

Amazing sub for small spaces

I was searching for a sub to put into my Supercab truck and I already knew the Kicker reputation. Initially I was a bit skeptical of the shallow subs because most articles I have read say they don't perform as well as a standard sub but I have limited space in my cab. I'd have to say that I'm extremely impressed with the quality, sound and performance of this sub compared to other subs I've used in the past. If you're looking for a sub that can be concealed in a small box or area, this is the sub for you! I'm only running 500 watts to mine and its awesome so imagine what more power could do to this sub!
