Hits ridiculously hard and clean for a shallow mount. I have one mounted in a subwoofer box from taco tunes that I custom cut for the square sub to fit. The kicker packaging came with the cutout template which helped a ton. It hits hard and clear. Sounds like a regular sub not a shallow mount. Powered by the Kicker CXA800 mono amp is the perfect match. I have the gain at almost zero and it still hits extremely and loud when I turn the volume up. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a shallow mount to hit like a normal sub in a tight space. Very pleased.

Amazing sound and punch for a shallow sub. Using sealed box with .66 cuft per sub, these things absolutely pound my Toyota tundra. Been a fan of kicker for over 30 years and some things only get better with age.

I wasn't expecting these two L7T 12s" to hit like they do! Plus they look and feel solid and very well-built. They sound clean! I have them connected to the Kicker CX1200.1 Mono Amp in a box under my truck's back seat that was made by Ground Shaker. Overall I'm very happy with these speakers. Now lets see how long they last through my torturous listening habits lol

Awesome shallow subs! I have a pair of these in my Tundra powered by an Audio Control LC-1.1500, in about 0.75 cubes sealed each and they sound fantastic! Do not sound like a shallow subs at all. Super deep, hard hitting clear bass. Perfect choice for vehicles that have space challenges.

2019 Polaris Ranger XP900
So I have been in contact with Kicker through IG and hoping they would build L7 shallow mount subs. Finally they did and they definitely do not disappoint. Feed these subs their recommended rms and they shake. They just keep going. They sound good at low listening volumes as well. I'm building a box for 3 of them under my f150 seat. It's not all good unfortunately. The frame is Thick, and the rubber surround sticks out quite a bit compared to the other shallow subs. If you've got clearance for a thicker "shallow" sub these will definitely impress you.
Pros: 1 sub slams awesome in my f150 supercrew, 3 should be really fun. Handles 600+ watts rms great. Kicker has made a comeback with this sub
