About the Kicker 48CDF104

Bass bonanza
Bass bonanza
Kicker's CDF104 loaded enclosure gives you a rugged 10" Comp™ subwoofer in a down-firing box that brings Kicker bass power to today's smaller vehicles. The tough sealed box was designed specifically for the subwoofer, so you can count on getting maximum performance, whatever you listen to.
Solid sub
The 10" Comp sub's tough injection-molded polypropylene cone gives it the stiffness to resist distortion when you pump up the volume. Its ribbed foam surround keeps the cone on track for less distortion, while the sub's steel basket minimizes resonance and dissipates heat through its extensive venting to stand up to long listening sessions. This sub handles up to 150 watts RMS (300 watts peak), so you'll get plenty of bass response.
Road tough
The box's downward-firing design helps protect the sub from damage, and lets you place items on top of the cabinet for more usable cargo space. Its sturdy medium-density fiberboard construction and rugged black carpet covering give the enclosure good looks that complement its performance.

Features
Comp Woofer: The Kicker 48CDF104 enclosure is loaded with one 10" Comp series subwoofer. The Kicker subwoofer features a stiff injection-molded polypropylene cone with 360-degree back bracing. The ribbed, UV-treated surround and cone are attached using Kicker's signature white double stitching, providing an outstanding bond. Perimeter venting allows air to move freely around the motor for excellent heat management, and a bumped backplate allows the high-temperature voice coil to travel further, providing deep bass without distortion.
Down-Firing Enclosure: The sealed down-firing enclosure is made of heavy-duty MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with extensive internal bracing, providing exceptional acoustic efficiency and deep powerful bass. The enclosure is covered in sleek black carpeting for added protection and a refined look. Its compact, down-firing form allows it to be mounted in cargo areas, or under seats.
Speaker Terminals: A single pair of spring-posts are mounted on the underside of the enclosure in a recessed terminal cup, and will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs, or bare wire up to 10 gauge.
Power: The single 4Ω Comp subwoofer can handle 75W-150W RMS (300W peak).
Break-in Period: Due to the complex nature of Kicker Comp speakers, they require a break-in period in order to produce optimum low-bass response. The suspension system is very stiff out-of-the-box. Approximately two weeks of daily playing will allow the suspension to break-in and reach its optimum equilibrium. Once broken-in, the subwoofer will exhibit stronger bass performance, smoother response, and greater low-bass extension.

Sounds good. Actually much more bass than I was expecting. I bout the amp that matches this and crutchfield suggested and I believe it's under rated. Both amp and sub were well worth the cost.
