Great for what it is

Clear and punchy but not rumbling my accord trunk enough. Paired with 2 pairs of 43dsc6704 and a 46cxa660.5t. It didn't quite keep up with the 60w speakers. Swapped the sub with a kicker comp C vcwc112 and it's perfect.

Digs deep and hard.

Easy install.hits low and hard.fit like a glove in my underfloor storage area.it's hidden and it hits!.had it just a couple weeks so just getting broken in.love the down firing design and the efficiency .coupled it with a pair of Focal separates in the front door/dash.MTX and Memphis power..sounds amazing.great product for the money!.

Sadly Disappointed.

I had this professionally installed in my Bronco Sport. Compact enough not to overtake all trunk space. But the bass just does not hit. I chose a down firing because sport is an open space. I read a review that it hits hard but this 1 did not.

Quality sound great price

I got the Kicker CDF12 for my 2020 F-150 XLT and I really was impressed with it so I got another one so now I have 2 CDF12 and I still have the use of my back seat they are durable and stout I have loaded up my back seat as if they were not there only down side is the break in time cause I'm so impatient but give them 20-25 hours of break in period and OMG I was floored with the bass they put out for the price can't beat it I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to put some bass in your ride no regrets paired with a Kicker 600.1 amp and great quality great sound great price great durability HAPPY without a doubt I have Kicker 6.9 6.5 1" and 3.5 speakers I really like Bluetoothing my Laptop and watching videos on it with the quality sound better than any theater Thank you Kicker for the amazing sound satisfied customer

Great bass for the cost.

Great sub for the price. I usually build my own boxes, but time is not my friend right now. Saw this sub, took measurements... perfect fit for the wifies car. GREAT price for the quality and my time saved on a build.

Plenty of bass. Tight and great sound quality for the price. Pushing it with 150 RMS watts at 4 ohm with Kicker 5 channel amp. Great balance for the price

The size is good for the small car, sound is full and sustains the lower end being a 12" size. Had to turn it down from the amp, it can really rattle the windows in a fiesta! Can't go wrong with Kicker Comp.

Not enough power. Bought this from a Crutchfield Sales Recomendation to match the speakers I purchased (JL JD250/1) at the same time. The box look good but not enough to feel the Bass.

Great sound.

Ordered for my 2024 Jeep Wrangler. All I can say is love the bass. Only suggestion make sure you run it with a mono sub woofer amp makes a big difference. Love the fact I can still use the trunk space and able to put items on top. Very sturdy construction and does not look like a subwoofer box. Already recommended to others.

Kicker Audi Add-on to B&O

I wish 4.5 stars was possible. This was paired with a Kicker KEY500.1 at 30% gain in a Bang & Olufson Audi and it THUMPS. High-level sub inputs were used and no REM. We'll see if that works as intended. Only minor issues remain, such as fine-tuning, rattle-hunting and a dire need to get some more dynamat. I've only had 10" subs in the past. This loves the 808s more, but not as tight as I've been used to. The modern Kicker Comp + box quality is very high for this cost. This is a really good deal.

Great design box, great punch

Needed a sub that could "stay out of the way". This design does the trick. The down-firing design allows me to retain my trunk space and can stack on top of it if needed. The punch of this 12" beast is earth shaking!

Perfect where space is at a premium.

It was the perfect choice for adding some bass to our Jeep Wrangler. Being down-firing, the enclosure still allows you to stack stuff on top of it so I didn't lose any storage room.

Perfect for a 2-door Jeep Wrangler

Using this in the back of my 2-door Jeep Wrangler to replace an older 12" Rockford Fosgate that's in a huge box that's taking up the majority of my storage space, and so far am loving it and it isn't even broken in yet! It fits perfectly, takes up very little space and still allows me to set stuff on top of it, and best of all, it sounds quite a bit better than my old Rockford sub. Overall, very happy with this sub and enclosure for my application.

Great value

This Kicker fits into tight places with it's low profile size. I have a hard-to-fit spot in my Mustang GT trunk. The sound quality is good for the price and will fit my needs well.

Not as good as I hoped

Box looks good and did fit the area it was purchased for, but the Bass is very underwhelming. Not extremely happy with it for the money. I would not purchase again.

Scratch and Dent Purchase

The dented portion of the box was not a problem, but the sub is defective, sounds and feels like the coil is rubbing internally. I had time to return it. However, I chose to replace the sub with a new Kicker 43C124 paired with a Kicker 46CXA4001T which sounds good for the low power application I need! I will leave a separate positive review and continue to use Crutchfield. I'm just curious to take apart the old sub and peek inside.

Sounds so good

I can't believe how natural and tight sounding the bass is coming out of this box! Saves so much space too. Not a lot of room in the cargo area of a short body Escalade, so this fit perfectly, allowing me to just throw stuff on top of it with its downfiring design. It sounds so good!

BIG bass in a small package

Paired this with a Pioneer GM-A3702 bridged and it sounds amazing I have to keep my windows up because its knock me out of the car twice.You can't go worng with kicker.

If you have a c6 corvette it clears the targa top with ease! It also bumps in this car, didn't even get to play around with it much and getting compliments, would recommend!

Great sound, low price

With two kids and a dog, space is at a premium, this box is compact and allows us to lay things around and on top of it. The sound quality is great, tight when necessary and it booms when I want. There is so much value at a relatively low price. I couldn't be happier.

If you are on the fence pull the trigger now. This thing is amazing, and for a great price. I bought it to go in my C6 corvette, looking for just a little low end bass. Paired with a Sound Ordnance M350-1 this thing ROCKS. Very impressed with the output, it is loud and clean. The fact that it takes up very little space and is completely protected is an added bonus. Also for those with a corvette the top still fits with this installed.

Exactly what I was looking for

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this sub. I've got it mounted in an 04 Jeep Rubicon and interior space is a precious commodity. I wanted to add some more depth to my audio without giving up too much real estate and this little guy fits the bill nicely. For the price, I'd say it's hard to beat. The box looks great and the sub sounds excellent!

Awesome clean bass and easy to install. Didn't like how you had to drill into the enclosure to mount it but I think the feet are separate from the enclosure so there shouldn't be any leaking issues (that I know of).

Spectacular for the $$$$$$

I purchased this sub to replace a 10" powered bazooka. The bazooka didn't perform in this particular set up. I was left very disappointed. So I knew I needed a sub box and external amp. After reading the reviews I felt comfortable first the price to try it out. The install is in a 2013 ford transit connect cargo van. Since the configuration is down firing its perfect for a work van. First test blew me away. Well exceeded my expectations. An awesome buy first the money.

Clean, tight bass. I replaced a SO B-17 with this box in my Subaru Outback. The SO was great, but was a bit more bass than I thought as looking for. This box hits tight, sounds great and is a much better fit in the back of my Outback. I particularly like the down-firing sub. It allows for storage all around it without fear of damaging the speaker.

Great choice

So far this sub is doing a phenomenal job hitting those bass notes I never had before. I'm loving it, it's compact and doesn't take too much room and it doesn't guzzle power. Originally I ordered this downfiring 12" kicker from another retailer, but the foot came broken. I reordered it with Crutchfield, saved some $ by sending it slow and it made its way here in one piece. So I'm happy.

Wow. This sub rocks! I didn't want to use a standard box because they take up so much room in the trunk, and I was intrigued by this unit because you can load items on top of it if needed. I also like that the driver faces down so it's a little more protected without a grill for when I need to load things in the back. And the sound?? Fantastic. I'm sure there is more bass to be had out there for more money, but this was exactly what I was hoping for. Solid, tight bass that fills in the lower end for all the various genres I listen to. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Paired it with the Sound Ordnance M350 and it sounds great.
