Great sound

Haven't fine tuned it yet at the Amp and it still bumps while breaking it in, my other kicker has been through a lot and it's the same as it ever was, I'm sure this will be the same.
Pros: Great sound, my system can hit more freq. now
Cons: Should be broken in from the factory in my opinion but other than that no cons

My First Sub
Brandon from Glen Allen, VA on 11/16/2022
This was my first sub that I've had installed in my car, I absolutely love it. It balances so well with my Kenwood speakers but also has power if you want to bump it. I'm a big music head so I love the fact that it's not really overkill.

So far so good. Have only played it for about 10 hours so may need some more break-in time. Otherwise sounds good in a custom .75sqft box in the back of a Jeep JKU.

Pounding base at a tenth the price.
Phillip from Avondale, AZ on 8/21/2022
I had a top of the line Infinity 10" woofer that died a hard pounding death. It would be about $1000 to replace. Got this Kicker because the price and ohms were right. And omg it hits even harder than the infinity, crystal clear at that, which it shouldn't even be on the same level. I don't think you can buy a better speaker for the money. Powered by a Polk Audio amp, 500 watts at 4 ohms. Dual voice coils of the woofer are wired in series. Mounted in a small sealed box.
Pros: (1) Great quality and exceptional sound. (2) The price (3) Sounds great in a sealed box
Cons: None that I can tell.

Excellent speaker. Sounds great and fit perfect in my qbomb box. I would definitely recommend the speaker.it hits hard for a 10" and holds plenty of power.

happy to be the first to review this product as a loyal crutchfield customer. This sub is an absolute bargain for what you get. I traded in my JL 10W0V3 for this sub because my Kicker CXA.400.1 amp just simply could not power the JL well enough with the 150watts @ 4 ohms it has. it would of been a great sub if i had spent an extra $100 on an amp strong enough to power it. But my budget wont allow it so ill stick with what i have now and be happy with it. Sound Quality: Im running this sub at 500w @ 1 ohm. The kicker amp certificate that came with the amp said its good for 520 watts so we'll go with that. The sound is Tight, and full because im giving it plenty of power, and hits (almost) just as low as the JL sub. I would say the sound quality is just not as nice as the JL but that probably has to do with it being ran at 1 ohm. The full sound makes up for that and im still very happy with it. I think my amp is strong enough to run this same sub at 2 ohms and get slightly better sound quality but oh well. Who knows if it would help. Im okay with keeping the 1 ohm sub for now, for when i want to rage. If you are buying the same amp and sub pair i have; i would recommend getting the DVC 4 ohm and run it at 300 watts if you want a little more SQL. The 1 ohm difference is only noticeable if youre an audiophile like myself.
Pros: My $130 amp can power it sufficiently.
Cons: 1 ohm doesnt hit as clean as 2 ohm and 4 ohm subs. but you can barely notice, or not notice at all.
