Product Research

Features

Overview: The Kicker 51KGML7T122 has been specifically designed to fit select 2008-up Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Crew Cab trucks. The sealed enclosure features two 12" L7T square subwoofers in a custom, down-firing enclosure that mounts underneath the rear seat.

Note: Use our online vehicle selector to see what products work with your vehicle.

Subwoofers: The Kicker 12" L7T subwoofer's square SoloKon design offers up to 20% more cone area than conventional round speakers. This unique cone design is constructed of injection-molded polypropylene that moves as a lightweight piston for improved control. The driver's tough, flexible Santoprene rubber surround has a long-throw, positive-roll design, which controls extreme cone excursion and is tear-resistant. The corners of the surround are ribbed to ensure linear cone motion, while reinforced stitching around the cone edge improves durability.

Enclosure: The Kicker 51KGML7T122 down-firing enclosure is constructed of MDF with heavy internal bracing and covered in thick black carpet.

Terminals: Two spring posts provide the connection to the enclosure, accepting speaker wire up to 10-gauge. The two subwoofers are internally wired for a 2-ohm load at the terminals.

Power: The Kicker 51KGML7T122 loaded enclosure can handle between 600-1200 watts RMS.

Customer Q&A

2 questions already asked

Q
Can I buy this and wire it to the stock amp? I do have bose. Or do I need to change out the whole stock infotainment and amp?

A
Hey Monte, when it comes to factory amps, those tend to be severely underpowered and would not be able to drive these subs. Now depending on your vehicle, you may be able to just add an aftermarket amp into your factory system to push these subs. For details on installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on what you will need for an installation.
