Kicker bass — a powerful tradition
Kicker bass — a powerful tradition
Strong bass adds a whole new dimension to your car's sound system, and Kicker Comp subwoofers give you tremendous bass value for your dollar. You'll hear and feel the power of Kicker bass without feeling like your wallet just got thumped. Kicker's 43C104 10" subwoofer handles up to 150 watts RMS to bring out the depth your music's been missing, and its 4-ohm impedance works with just about every amplifier on the market. This versatile sub works well in sealed or ported enclosures.
Kicker technology at work
This Comp sub features a flex-resistant polypropylene cone with 360-degree back bracing for hard-hitting lows without distortion. The ribbed foam surround promotes long excursion and keeps the cone on target, while double stitching ensures your investment won't come apart at the seams. A tough steel basket provides a reliable foundation for big bass, and its extensive venting ensures long-lasting performance that won't break down when the bass gets heavy.

Features
Speaker Terminals: The spring-loaded, nickel-plated terminals provide solid connections for speaker wire up to 10-gauge. Single banana plugs and pin connectors will also fit.
Rubber Magnet Boot: A black rubber boot covers the outside edge of the magnet structure to improve the cosmetics of the woofer and protect the magnet during installation.
Sealed Enclosure Applications: Kicker recommends sealed enclosure volumes from 1 ft³ to 2.4 ft³. Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer, will handle a lot of power, and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable for all types of music.
Ported Enclosure Applications: Kicker recommends ported enclosure volumes from 1.25 ft³ to 1.75 ft³. Slot port dimensions are given in the manual for the minimum enclosure volume (10-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 14-1/2") and the maximum enclosure volume (10-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 13-1/4"). Ported (or vented) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed, so they are suitable for use with smaller amplifiers, giving you more bass output from less power. However, this efficiency comes at the expense of very low frequency output.
