When Kicker introduced their L7™ series subwoofers, the combination of rugged materials, quality workmanship, and innovative design raised the bar for aftermarket subwoofer performance. Now Kicker has created the CompQ™ Series subwoofer, a speaker that puts the L7's awesome performance into a round basket that'll mount in a standard enclosure.

Built tough for great bass

The 42CWQ152 15" sub features a forged aluminum frame for maximum strength and accurate sound reproduction. The sub's injection-molded SoloKon™ polypropylene cone features special back bracing for strength and responsiveness, while a special-design Santoprene™ rubber surround allows greater cone excursion for increased output. Two 2-ohm voice coils give you extra flexibility in incorporating this sub into your system.

Handles up to 1100 watts

This sub's advanced design keeps things cool when you are driving your system hard, so you'll get reliable performance. With up to 1100 watts of RMS power handling, you'll get plenty of the deep, rich bass you need to make your music come alive.

Features

Dual Voice Coils: For increased system flexibility, the woofer has two 2Ω voice coils. When the voice coils are wired in parallel, the woofer presents a 1Ω load; when wired in series, the woofer presents a 4Ω load.

Terminals: The spring post terminals will accept pin connectors, single banana plugs (but not dual), and bare wire up to 8 gauge.

Sealed Enclosure: A sealed enclosure design gives the smoothest response with increased energy at the lowest frequencies (between 20 and 30 Hz).
