Great for the money

Solid all-around upgrade over stock. Very shallow mounting depth. Sounded better to my ear eq'd to scooped mids rather than a mid hump. Given the price, I am happy with them. Plan on sourcing some kind of screws to hold them to the adapters if you are using those.

Overall the speakers themselves are probably a 30% improvement over the stock Honda ones, but...instructions from Crutchfield are lacking, they tell you how to remove the stock ones and that is where it ends, nothing about placement or tips other then " cut the tabs off the inside of the mounting adaptor ", clocking and screw placement would have been helpful instead of fumbling around by myself in my driveway while I had the harness hooked up and trying to clock the speaker and mount plate to at lease four screw holes.

Fit perfectly in the rear doors. Nice speaker to run off the factory radio. Much better bass and highs. They can handle more power but are efficient enough to sound alright on a factory system.

Crutchfield to the Rescue

I bought my little hatchback new and had them install the mfr's "premium" sound, which turned out to be just another cheap paper woofer. Upgrading was a cinch, even though I had never installed speakers before. They sent me a full kit with EVERYTHING I needed to adapt the speaker and wiring and mount it professionally in my doors. I did have some questions but the Crutchfield service techs were patient and effective, staying with me to completion. Awesome results! Thanks, Crutchfield!

Wow, should have bought these sooner! Crisp and Full!

This is a BIG upgrade from your factory speakers, at a moderate cost! My worn-out original cardboard speakers in my Highlander were sounding terrible, but these made a huge difference, even with the OEM radio. These look like high-quality, well-made replacements with modern materials and quality connectors. I can now hear a whole new range of sound, and they certainly don't rattle or buzz if you turn them up! Crutchfield's installation kit was a perfect fit and it is a breeze to install them with simple common tools, no modifications required. Installation instructions are excellent, thanks again Crutchfield!

At 60w RMS, these go well with factory radios

You may think simply swapping out your factory speakers won't make much of a difference but trust me it does. These kickers sound great compared to my flat factory speakers. If you're only only changing speakers but keeping your factory radio as I did, these are a great option since their RMS is 60 watts.

Excellent replacement for factory speakers & keeping stock head unit

I bought these to replace the existing rear factory speakers for a 2022 Subaru. They worked great, much better than the existing lightweight factory "paper" speakers. Crutchfield included the necessary wiring adapter and mounting brackets, so no soldering was required. Some very minor adjustments needed to be made to the universal mounting brackets, breaking off unnecessary tabs (its designed to allow that). I used the existing mounting screws for the car mount points, no drilling was required. I choose these to replace the factory speakers as the sensitivity numbers are good, higher than average, and the range of sound reproduced is excellent. I am not planning to amplify these speakers, nor change my factory head unit. These speakers were designed with that market segment in mind. I think the meager base speakers installed on most modern cars are designed by the manufacturers to be inexpensive and save weight, with a bare minimum sound quality, so replacing base speakers on a car is a worthy upgrade. I did add some foam tape (inexpensive) to the bracket point of contact to the car, and the "top" edge of the speakers that would touch the door trim.

Excellent Kicker Sound

Great sound, replaced factory door speakers in a Chevy Cruze on factory power for now. Easy install, Crutchfield provided the adapter brackets and wiring to connect to stock connectors for free! Sound is very clear, mids and highs are really loud and has sufficient bass, more than expected. Still needs a sub down the road, but almost all music except deep bass sounds much better than muddy factory speakers. Highly recommend these as an upgrade from tired stock speakers, and Crutchfield honors their price match. The price dropped the day these arrived and a quick phone call took care of the refunded price difference. Crutchfield is world class!

Lasted less than a week

These lasted less than a week before one blew. Was on a phone call when one popped and stopped working. Will crackle in and out but is basically a dud. Not happy. Replacing with a set of Fostgates

Easy Install & Good Product

I have a 2013 corolla and wanted to start upgrading my sound system. I started with replacing these in the front doors, noticeable difference in sound quality. If you are using an aux cable as your media source it doesn't tend to make full use of the speakers. However, with my stock head unit the fm/am radios and cd have a nice noticeable increase in both clarity and overall loudness.

Clear, plenty of bass

Finally replaced OEM speakers in my 2008 Impala (which I did like), these seem to be somewhat superior. They have all the low end I need out of my front door speakers, and the frequency response was not too far off from the originals so after a quick tweak to the EQ there shouldn't be much adjustment period. The install was very straightforward with no problems.

Way Better Than Stock!

Added four of these to a 2021 Subaru Forester base model. Not surprisingly, the front speakers made most of the difference. No more muddy acoustics. Fuller range and cleaner sound made this install worthwhile. Speakers are priced well and very easy to install with the trim kits that are included. Note that there is a pass-through opening on the adapters that is too small to pass the wire connector through. This is easily remedied with a quick bit of filing.

Spectacular speakers

Great sounds come from this speaker especially compared to the supposed Bang and Olfuson set up in my F250. It did sound ok, but these speakers blow it out of the water! I would save a few bucks and go with these. They don't disappoint!!

Great speakers foe the price

I have some positives and some negatives about my experience. However, the negatives were corrected by Crutchfield immediately upon being contacted. 1. The purchase experience was great. The items were ordered and shipped very timely. 2. After receiving the items and inspecting the products, one of the Metra wiring harnesses closed was the wrong one. Crutchfield immediately shipped out another In 2 days. So I installed the 2 front speakers while awaiting the Metra harness for the rear speakers. 3. The speaker install was easy. I would recommend getting #8, 3/4" sheet metal screws to attach the speakers to the adapter. 4. The speakers are much better than OEM. Hooking up an amp would make them much better but for the price point and sound, they're fine. 5. Thanks Crutchfield for the recommendation and making sure the customer was taken care of.

Good replacement for factory speakers

Replaced the factory speakers in the back door of my Mazda CX-5, much better sound. Easy install, perfect fit with the NSB710 Speaker Mounting Brackets and Metra 72-5602 Speaker Wiring Harness. The screws that came with the mounting brackets were too small in diameter so I had to find some that would fit the holes. All else was perfect.

I don't usually do reviews but I was so impressed with these speakers and with crutchfields service i feel I owed it to them to leave a review. These speakers are amazing what a difference from the factory speakers. The highs are great, even the mid and lows are amazing and that's with a factory stereo. Granted the factory stereo is one of those info dash displays so I don't know if they have a bigger amp than a standard stereo but if they sound this good without an amp, I can only imagine what they will sound like once I do put an amp with them. My girlfriend is totally impressed as well as they were her Xmas present. I would give these speakers 10 stars if I could

Solid speakers, not so great included materials

The speakers sound a lot better than I expected. I have them connected to an aftermarket head unit without an amplifier. Installed in a 2011 silverado crew cab. A bit flat on the bass and almost seems like its struggling a bit with it under load. I don't listen to them cranked up but overall, they're an improvement. The harness that came with was garbage and didn't work on a single one of the speakers. They all had to be cut and spliced. the included mounting plate was pretty crappy too. I had to use my own screws and modify them as they didn't fit as they should. A bit disappointed as the whole reason I went with Crutchfield was the plate and hardness and both were pretty much worthless.

Amazing bass

Just install these speakers to replace my factory speakers that were from 2007 they sound amazing on my factory radio. I was very shocked with amount of bass I was a little skeptical at first because I wasn't gonna be able to fit a 6 x 9 which was in it originally but I downsize to this kicker 6 3/4, and I was very shocked It sounded very clear. You can't beat the price. And also the plug-in play adapters that Crutchfield gives you it's a no-brainer. I'm very excited to put them on an amp they're gonna sound even more amazing. If you're looking for quality, sound and good sounding bass and don't wanna break the bank. I definitely recommend these kickers

Amazing product and installation guide. This is my first car music install and Crutchfield made it so easy a baby can do it. Toughest part was removing the door to get to the speaker. Crutchfield provided all the required parts for my vehicle to make the factory speaker replacement be performed seamlessly. Will definitely be purchasing from their website in the future for replacing my factory front door speakers and tweeters. As for the speakers....well they're a Kicker indeed!.

Good quality sound as expected from Kicker products. The lower range bass notes are missing, but that can be attributed to them being in a Jeep with no doors. The midrange sound is solid. Overall a great speaker set for the price.
