My reception of XM was awful in the house, so this is exactly what I needed! Had to buy 2 for a long run to the outside. Very easy hookup. Everything is working fine. Great product.

Antennae extension cable
Crutchfield customer from Knoxville, TN on 3/5/2010
I needed some music down in my basement workshop and the cost for a new Ghetto Blaster type unit was more than I wanted to spend. So I reactivated my portable SkyFi 2 receiver and setup in shelves on the north side of my basement workshop. Needless to say my original Antennae Cable was way too short, only reaching about 1/3 the way to a southern exposure window. I bought this extension cable, plugged it in to my original antennae after placing it into the window ledge and ran the extension back to my SkyFi unit and POOF there was music in my lonely quiet basement workshop. I probably had an extra 20 feet left in spare cable after the two were connected so there was plenty of extra cable should I decide to move it to another window. The coupler between the old cable and the new extension cable was a little strange being encased in rubber, but I had no problem figuring out how they attached. I felt the cost of the extension cable was a bit pricey for just a cable, but it was cheaper than buying a new music unit like an iPod or something that just plays CDs or local radio. Now I can listen to my Cincy Reds or music on XM, while working on my projects. JP
