Features
Woofer Size Classification: Some manufacturers, including Morel, call this size woofer a 6½". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6½" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size as 6¾". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Tweeter Mounting Options: The tweeter can be surface or flush mounted using the included adapters. The large surface mount housing also uses the oval flush mount housing and angles the tweeters at approximately 45°. The small surface mounting housing angles the tweeters at approximately 20°.

Will I be okay running these from an aftermarket stereo unit with 22W RMS until I get an amplifier?

Hello, and thanks for the question. So yes, these Morels are sensitive enough that they will sound pretty decent on the aftermarket radio and will sound a TON better, once we get that amp on those to drive them properly.

Hey Chris, so Morel does not outright list those specs on their end, nor can I find an exact figure the QTS on that particular line of speakers anywhere else. This is something their Customer Support team may be able to answer, and you can reach out to them at 877-667-3511.

Why does this say it wouldn't fit in a '96 Ford F250? The dimensions seem fitting.

We do not qualify the Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII speakers as a fit in your 96 Ford F-250, Sinan. While there is sufficient depth for the woofer (3.9") these woofers would require custom modification of your inner door panel, mounting of the crossover, and a custom location to mount the tweeter. If you would prefer woofers that physically fit in your truck with re-drilling of screw holes, consider the Hertz Dieci DSK components in the link below! You will have to custom mount your tweeter with any component set of speakers as your F-250 does not feature tweeters originally.

Worth every penny. Very smooth and "airy," for lack of a better word. Nice transition from mid bass to tweeter. Tweeters crisp, but not too bright. Great sounding speaker. You absolutely get what you pay for.
