Finally had a nice day to get this speaker set installed. 2020 Impreza with factory radio. Original speaker was a simple dual cone. So this was a major upgrade. And with a helpful phone call to sort out wiring colors the installation went well. And they sound amazing. I can hear much cleaner highs and mids. Baffles were suggested and that gives them a tight sound. I will listen awhile and see if I want to port the baffles. Otherwise awesome sound! Awesome customer phone help! I will be back for the co- axial version for the rear doors. Thanks Crutchfield!

Great Speakers, Tweeters are a huge plus from OEM

Vehicle: 2019 Chevy Silverado, Non-Bose, 7" display. Install: Very easy to install with the additional accessories you need that Crutchfield provides during the checkout process. Plug and play for the most part. Tweeter: I used a 2" hole saw for the flush mount tweeter bracket. I'd suggest having a file on hand as well to file some of the areas that stick out more on the tweeter mount. (Ex: the plastic that surrounds the +/- cables). I also used T-Taps to connect the tweeters to the factory speaker harness. Without an amp, these sound good. I recently installed an AudioControl D-6.1200, still working out the EQ settings but overall have been more than happy with the quality from these speakers.
Pros: Easy to install. Great sound with or w/o amp (if EQ'd properly) No additional modification for flush mount tweeter in dash.

Exceptional mids and highs

Only installed the dash tweeters so far. (Waiting on sound deadening to install the woofers). Love the smoothness on the vocals as the volume increases. Easy on the ears. The tweeters alone, confirm all the previous reviews on Morel speakers. Thanks s is the exact sound I was looking for. Can't wait to install the woofers. The Morel 6.5" coax will go in the rear doors. Pros: Highs are clear with smooth mids as volume increases. Having several mounting options made installing them into the factory locations a breeze.
Cons: None that I see.
