Just spectacular sound. I hear so much more life like highs. If you buy the german unpainted aluminum pods for these, be careful not to paint the threads and/or strip the threads either. :-) yeah, I did both.
Pros: Great sound. They handle tons of power.
Cons: A bit pricy, but no more so than the rest of the components I used. In fact, I bought these instead of the Focal tweeters for two reasons: 1) I really liked the lower end Morel tweeters I previously owned, and 2) the Focal M Series tweeters were about double the price of these and while the rest of my speakers are Focal, I couldn't see spending that much on tweeters so I went with the Picollos and am very pleased with them.

These are that last one percent

I've heard many great tweeters, and I own the Audiofrog GB10 in two of my vehicles which are great. I got to tune a system for a friend who had these paired with Audiofrog GB25s and OMG these are the best sounding tweeters I've ever heard.
Pros: Crazy good detail and realism.
Cons: big price tag and big tweeters.

Very pricey, but if you can afford them they are THE best sounding/quality I've ever had. Crutchfield sent free speaker mounts and vehicle adapter cables!
Pros: Best sound of ANY pricey speakers I have had.
Cons: High High High cost

Sweet all the way to 16,000 hertz
Robert from Jeanerette LA on 8/5/2022
I'm coming from Focal KX2 tweeters to these Morel top of the line. My front speakers are the 9" and 3" Morel Elate Pro 3-way but the Piccolos tweeters instead of the others inside an F250. They are really accurate within 1/4 dB from 3800 hertz to 16,000, yes. I can't hear anything after 13,000 but my microphone can. It's what make this speaker so good. Unlike other tweeters, It enhances the lower and upper hertz to the correct level so you can hear new sounds in your music you've never hear. I'm only using 75 watts and seems plenty for now but will increase to 150 later. What surprised me the most is the strength of this magnet inside the tweeter. Morel Piccolos have the strongest magnet I've ever seen in any speaker regardless of size. I had to stop playing with my DSP because I can't make it sound more perfect. I have another truck coming soon so the install is temporary.
Pros: The sound level evenness from 3800 hertz or less to 16,000 hertz or more is a straight line.
Cons: Really beautiful tweeters out in the open tells everyone about what's in your truck.

Excellent! Could not be happier. If you're like me you've debated these tweeters with some reluctance, let me assure you though, you will not be disappointed.

I swapped out just the tweeters from high end components for these, and then powered these tweeters with dedicated amp. The result is astoundingly beautiful. Because my system was already high end and I had never actually heard the Piccolos, only read the reviews that existed elsewhere, I was uneasy right up until I heard them. And I am thrilled. I also appreciate Crutchfield, especially the excellent Buck Pomerantz, who took the time to review my plan and advise it was a very good one (I had described the prior system, and the proposed change). note: I did not buy the Piccolos from Crutchfield, but did purchase the components and the Pioneer Dex P99RS from Crutchfield.
