The fat lady sings
This component speaker system takes full advantage of Morel's very best speaker technology. A version of Morel's famous "fat lady" mid-bass driver, the 6-1/2" Supremo woofer uses a sturdy yet responsive one-piece carbon fiber cone to deliver incredibly accurate and inspiring performance. And the innovation doesn't stop there — External Voice Coil (EVC™) technology maximizes voice coil size in these speakers for better heat dispersion and efficient performance.
Supreme Piccolo tweeter
Morel delivers the high frequencies with their Supreme Piccolo tweeter, a durable 1.1" silk soft dome tweeter that's coated in Morel's one-of-a-kind Acuflex™ compound to enhance damping for a cleaner, more natural sound. A perfect sonic match for the Supremo woofer, the tweeter comes with an elegant 2-5/8" aluminum faceplate to help with installation.
140 watts RMS
You can take advantage of every bit of this system's 140-watt RMS power rating, knowing that the system will perform flawlessly at high volume levels. Morel includes their latest MXR crossovers, engineered to integrate the woofer and tweeter perfectly for an incredible stereo image. Woofer Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Morel, call this size woofer a 6-1/2". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6-1/2" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size woofer as a 6-3/4". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Enclosure: If the woofer is mounted in an enclosure, Morel recommends a 0.14 ft³ sealed enclosure (0.11 ft³ to 0.35 ft³ is acceptable) or a 0.35 ft³ ported enclosure tuned to 65 Hz.
Tweeter Mounting: The tweeter is designed to be flush mounted; it is built on a flush mount frame. The dome is very delicate, so the mesh grille should always be used.

Crossover: The outboard crossovers' inputs and outputs are set screw terminals; they will accept bare wire up to 10-gauge. The crossover point is 2.2 kHz and the slope is 24 dB/octave. A jumper inside each crossover allows you to adjust the tweeter output level; choose -2 dB, 0 dB, or +2 dB. Each crossover has bi-amp inputs, one input for the tweeter and one for the woofer. When bi-amping the speakers, the input jumper wires need to be removed. Using four amplifier channels to bi-amp speaker typically improves the dynamic range and presents an easier load for the amp(s) to drive.

Great speakers for a beginners! Good value, and they sound pretty good. Upgraded from my stock Corolla speakers to these, and I can definitely tell the difference.
